Jennifer is an excellent Naturopathic Physician who clearly listens to you and can pinpoint your health problem.
I have read about Naturopathic Physicians before, but had never had an appointment with one until Jennifer.
I came to her office to seek help with changing some unhealthy habits of mine. After speaking with Jennifer, she noted that I was eating too many carbohydrates. She ordered lab work to see how my body/nutrition was. It turns out I have a few alarming high and low levels in my lipids and an extremely low vitamin D 25 H level at 15.5 ng/mL. Normal vitamin D 25 H level range is between 30 to 100 ng/mL!
I created a health plan for my nutrition problem with Jennifer to include more protein/vegetables/cut out carbs/ to exercise regularly. I also now take cod liver oil, vitamin D drops, a liquid multivitamin and B-12.
I recommend that everyone pay a visit to Dr. Jennifer O'Leary, ND, right away! You will be amazed at how your health will improve because Dr. Jennifer listens to everything that's going on with you and she'll, literally, heal your problems! If you want a doctor that listens, look no further!. After seeing traditional doctors for many years that would spend all of 10 minutes with you focusing on a singular symptom to treat, being diagnosed with many different 'conditions' (for what turns out to be one intolerance!), and having multiple chemical prescriptions that would often make me feel worse than I already did, I went in search of an alternative. A friend led me to Dr. Jenn and I can happily say that I feel infinitly better! I originally went to see her for one specific condition but Dr. Jenn took a wholistic picture of my health taking in to consideration all symptoms and all parts of my life. Within the first few visits, she was able to deduce that all of my years of 'multiple conditions' came down to a single basic intolerance that all of traditional doctors and specialists I had visited failed to see. She is very caring, personable, warm, friendly, and professional. She never makes you feel judged or as though you are doing something wrong, but encourages you in what you are doing right and steers you in the right direction. I highly recommend her!…
Hands down best doctor!. Dr. O'Leary is the best doctor I've seen. Period. I remember leaving my first visit saying, "This is what ALL doctors should be like!" She truly listens TO you, and listens to all aspects of your life to see the BIG PICTURE. In my experience, traditional doctors normally listent one problem and get out their prescription pad...not Dr. O'Leary. She makes me feel like she is my friend that just so happens to be a doctor--thats how caring she is! She is genuine and kind and personable. I could go on and on! You will love her, no question. :)…
Saved my Life!!. After years of feeling increasingly terrible and years of unsatisfactory results with medical doctors, (including internal med practioners, pulmonologists, rheumatologists) and several trips to the hospital and emergency room, I became increasingly desperate to feel better. Fate led me to Dr. O'Leary. She listened to my (oft recited) story and was able to unravel my symptoms within the first visit. Since my insurance does not cover naturopathy, she works closely with a Medical doctor for my treatment. I find Dr. O'Leary to be warm, caring, and an exceptional listener. She is also highly intelligent. She is the first and only health care practioner that I have ever visited that has been able to see me as a whole person with mltiple issues going on, rather than a bunch of unrelated symptoms. Although I felt awful when I found Dr. O'Leary, I did not have a full understanding of how good I could feel and how quickly I could get results, once she correctly diagnosed me (confirmed with medical testing that had been previously overlooked). The goal I had for treatment when I originally found Dr. O;Leary were 1) to feel better and 2) to age gracefully.
