Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices. My partner and I went to Pastini for our Valentine's Day supper, and are very happy that we ended up choosing it. When I called to make reservations the week before, and was told that they don't take reservations, I thought that we would be in for a long wait when we got there. However, the service was very efficient, and we got a table within 10 mins, and we had gotten there just before 6 pm. We enjoyed our food, the service was very friendly and fast. We did not feel at all pressured to order more drinks or dessert when we were full. And when the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised at all that we had gotten for that price, considering how nice the restaurant is. Over all a great dining experience!

Best bet every time. it's always fun to try a new a new restaurant but sometimes the results are disappointing. If i want to be sure of consistently good food and a pleasant place to eat it, i go to Pastini. I've had just about everything on the menu and it's all good. Today i had the Vongole - pasta with clams - buttery and spicy and good. the molto carne and the chicken piccata are my other favorites. they have a very good wine list, the prices are beyond reasonable and it's so lovely to look out on the new park downtown. and then there's this to die for chocolate cake, if you can make room. And they emphasize local food. Bellisima!

PASTINI THE PLACE TO GO IN PORTLAND. What a wonderful place to take your family, friends and for date night including a great bottle of wine. My favorite is the Cannelloni with seafood. Many of my family members have to eat gluten free and this is the place to go for just that. I was at a family reunion this weekend and overheard my dad tell his cousin to try out Pastini becaue they have gluten free meals. Plus desserts are great and my grandkids love the kids menus!! We go every chance we get -not only for the food but for the atmosphere and great pricing we all can afford!

Great Place for Low-Carb Diet. You might not expect an Italian restaurant to meet your low-carb needs, but Pastini has such a generous selection of salads, it's wonderful! And they even have gluten-free entrees and dessert. There's something for everyone.

Great Italian Food. What a great place! It reminds me of a New York City restaurant -- only without the high prices! Resonable wine prices. The best is the food -- it has the Italian flair. The best dish is the Linguini Chicken Piccata. The service was great. I will be back again soon!

Broadway's better. As always, Pastini is great. Their food is consistenly good from restaurant to restaurant. But the downtown site was a little too... hustling. The original Broadway site is our favorite. Visit THAT spot if you want to enjoy a calmer, quieter atmosphere with the quality, consistent cheap eat!

Great Lunch at Pastini. Went to the downtown Pastini and had a terrific Arugula salad with sherry vinegrette. I ordered the large and it was a huge portion and delicious. It has croutons and cucumber, capers and peppers that blend nicely with the dressing. I recommend this salad and other dishes highly to anyone who wants great food at a great price!

Una bella sera.. I am normally wary of Italian restaurants being the snob that I am, so when my friends suggested it, I was hesitant. However, I enjoyed my experience greatly. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and I must say the use of pork and beef in the ragu is something I rarely find at restaurants.

In terms of atmosphere and service, Pastini rates very favorably.

This snob would not hesitate in recommending Pastini to anyone looking for delicious Italian fare with great atmosphere.

Fast Easy and Fun. The Pastini Martini is the best Martini in town! There is a pasta dish to please just about anyone, lots to choose from. Good selection of local and Italian wines.
