great place. Fun place with great beer, great food and really nice prices. I love the Workingman IPA!

Outstanding pizza and beer. This Laurelwood location has the best pizza in Hollywood. My wife and I love getting chicken and broccoli pizza on their multi-grain crust. The beer is very good, with their seasonal espresso stout being the best coffee stout I've ever had (wish they had it year-round!).

It's true, this place bills itself as being very family-friendly, and during their busiest times there are often lots of children in there, sometimes running around and acting noisy. I'm no big fan of kids myself but it's never gotten out of control all the times I've been there.

All hail the chimp!. This concept of bring your kid into a bar so mommy and daddy can get sloshed is an interesting one. One night me and a few friends decided to go down to the local pub/pizza place. Being new to town I was really excited to checkout Laurelwood Pizza. When I opened the door to my horror their were little kids running around the restaurant as if Barney himself were inside and trying to teach them their A,B,Cs. To my amazement their parents did nothing but chat about the weather and laugh as their kids pulled silverware off of clean tables.Doesn't anyone remember something called respect. Respect for the other people around you. Well, still wanting to try some pizza me and friends stood waiting at the front door for quite some time. Finally someone saw us and seated us at the bar. Where I continued to wait. I this point I'll admit I was pretty thirsty for a beer. Watching this was like something out of a low budget movie. The host completely vanish out of thin air, next was the waiter who said " I'll be right back with some menus and some waters." I never heard from him again. I hate to be the guy looking at his watch at a restaurant but this whole experience took almost 30 minutes. No one still acknowledged us. So with that I looked at my friends who were equally hungry and said let's split. In my astonishment a four top of customers(us) got up and left and I honestly don't think anyone noticed.

Why so harsh?. First, I can see that no one has reviewed this place since August, and since we've been coming here since they opened last summer, thought I'd give our 2 cents. First off, they changed the menu a couple of months ago and it's a HUGE improvement. We have always loved the beer (the RED) and live close, so we kept givin' em a try. While the food used to be just okay, it's now great! Lots more choices, too. I mean, how many days a week can you eat pizza?? Yes, there are kids all over. If you don't like it, don't come here. But the pizza (try the Greek one or the Tuscan) is awesome, the beer is world class and the staff are super cool. I just don't understand the harsh bashing here.... For those of you reading these for the first time, give it a try! Or just go for the beer!

Pros: BEER!! Good pizza and sandwich bread is yummers

Cons: Kids running amok and parking is awful

Pizza,Pizza,Pizza...........now that's a Pizza!!!. Wow, since this is a "Pizza Company" my expectations are pretty high!! They did not disapoint! We ordered two pizzas one was an "all meat" venue. (Forget name) and the other a Greek vege type pizaa. It was like heaven when we added some Beer to meal as well. We are now huge fans of there RED. It was perfectlly matched with hops and malts and easy going down. Careful though, the beer is so good you'll need to have more!!! LOL!! Server was rockin cool and very attentive to all our needs. My Buddies Family always worry that with the kids they get to "needy" for stuff. Kids food came out first and all were pleased, especially the kids. When the Kids are happy, the parents are happy and trust me my buddies Family will be stopping by much more. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather, whole place had a very "positivlly" cool vibe. Highlly reccomended!!
