Wonderful Food, Great Staff

My daughter and I had dinner there the other night. I've been there on several occasions. I wish I could go there once a week -- but alas! I think the owner is the nicest person. He really makes you feel welcome. And his staff are just great, too. The chef even came over to talk with us. We had a grand time. Everything we had was marvelous. Our taste buds were very happy and got a lot of exercise. I don't understand why people dis the place. I know they don't have traditional breakfasts, but if you want something different with good people, then try it out. If you want great food, most definitely try it out. I love food, and this is some of the best!

My favorite breakfast

Toast has been my favorite breakfast place for about two years. I have never reviewed the restaurant and was totally shocked to see negative reviews?!?! Their food is always spot on and creative without being too wacky. I have tasted almost everything on the menu and it is all great. Every time I get the steak and eggs it is cooked perfectly. The pork belly is AMAZING! The staff are super friendly and efficient. Sure, this might not be your place if you want a trough of slop in the morning. The portions are perfect for a meal but you won’t be bringing enough home for lunch. If that’s your deal there are plenty of breakfast places that offer the quantity over quality.

Simply awful

Greasy, over-prepared, overly-presented, small and expensive. What a disappointment. Pine Street Biscuits on Hawthorne or Gravy on Mississippi or Delta on Woodstock are examples of fabulous hipster breakfast places. Toast merely poses as one.
