Finally! The hair stylist I've been waiting for.. After searching for literally years in Portland for an affordable but good hair stylist. I went to see Kristi Nouri at the recommendation of a friend. Krsit is fairly new to the Portland area, and even newer to Sparkle Beauty Bar, but it is clear she will have much success.

1st time cuts with a new stylist are always a bit scary, and Kristy talked me through every step: From really taking her time to go through color schemes and styles with me to doing a dry cut at the finish to make sure every part of my style was as I wanted it. She made the entire experience a pleasure.

The end result, a head turning hair cut and color that I absolutely love.

All I can say is its such a relief to have found a stylist I can trust. I am extremely picky about my hair and would truly recommend Kristy to anyone.

Great job on hair for my wedding day!. Ann Simone did an awesome job on my hair for my recent wedding. She was very attentive to my requests, and I felt like she really cared about her work. She was very easy to talk to, prices are great, and the shop is really cute. I got lots of compliments on my hair, and it held up all day perfectly. Thank you!

really great. I went to the Sparkle Beauty Bar for the first time with my 2.5 year old son. They were all really friendly and Simone did an amazing job cutting my hair and his. We had so much fun and I couldn't believe how reasonably priced she is. Cutest place! Love it.

THE BEST!. I'd been seeing another stylist (at another salon) that I liked, but didn't LOOOOOOVE. I decided to give Sparkle a try. Keelie cut, layered and colored my hair. It's fantastic. I have never been more happy with my hair and how it looks. She listened to what I wanted and didn't want and made the perfect cut. I had NO idea exactly what I wanted it to look like but somehow she knew.

GREAT EXTENSIONS!. I had extensions done by Ann Simone a few weeks ago, and they still look great! The best part is they look NATURAL!!!! Pals of mine say "Something is different, but I can't put my finger on it...."

"It's my hair, it's thicker and about 4"-5" longer."

The extensions are even the same texture as my own hair, not straight and not curly, perfectly matched "wavy". Ann Simone used the "Hot Locks" hair on me. These extensions are at at a mid-price range, and made extensions a possibility for my budget. Many salons just answer the phone and say "Yeah, we do extensions, and they're $1,000." At Sparkle Beauty Bar, you get a consultation first that explains the different types of extensions, the history of several types of hair applications, and you have many choices of what will work for your hair, and your budget.

I love my new hair, she did a great job, she taught me how to care properly for my extensions (they do require extra work, and special shampoo, which was also not over priced).

I am looking forward to my follow up appointment!

AMAZING!!. I am so amazed with Ann and her staff at Sparkle Beauty! They are hands down the most talented and professional of hairstylists and I am so proud that I can be one of their customers. They pay attention to detail and know how things are meant to be done. I feel at home here and can't wait to go back :)

Amazing People, Awesome Styles!. I came in a few days ago to have my hair cut for locks of love and they went above and beyond. I gave them free reign to cut and style my hair in a way that they thought would be flattering. Simone layered my hair and gave me bangs, I now have the best haircut I've had in years, and it was free! I also made an appointment to have my makeup done and got really good tips on what colors work with my skin and how to correctly apply....well, everything! I will definitely be going back when my hair gets long enough to cut again.

Sean at Sparkle Beauty Bar is the BEST!. Sean gave me the most amazing haircut, color and style....EVER! You can definitely tell that he knows the latest cutting and coloring techniques. I went in wanting something modern and edgy and Sean gave me exactly that. I am truly impressed and couldn't be happier with my new look. I have gotten so many compliments. Thanks Sean!!!

Simply the best!. I have NEVER been so consistently happy with my hair and have NEVER received so many compliments as I do since I started going to Sparkle almost 2 years ago!

Keelie is awesome! They are friendly, non-pretentious and I appreciate that they keep themselves knowledgable about trends, the environment, etc.

I also appreciate that Keelie has an opinion to offer. I've gone into salons before, asked if a certain cut or style will work for me and I am treated with a blank stare, a nod, then a DISASTER! Keelie has talked me out of bad choices, offered good alternatives and is always willing to make changes as necessary.

I don't know what I'd do without Sparkle!

Fantastic hair extensions. I've suffered from thinning hair for years. I'd never considered getting extensions until just recently. I just got tired of trying to style my thin, fine hair. I couldn't do anything with it. I started looking up information about extensions online and then discovered AnnSimone here in town. I went in for a consultation and she surpassed my expecations. I only thought that there were just a couple of types of extensions to choose from. It turns out there are several kinds and she found the type that would work best for me; an integration. I had been worried that extensions might damage the remaining hair I have left, but this was VERY non-invasive. Very gentle on my own hair. I've been very pleased with the natural looking results. I was afraid that the change would be very dramatic and artificial looking. My friends that don't know that I got extensions have all complimented me, saying how nice I look lately: Did I lose weight? Did I perhaps get a new haircut? It's subtle difference, but to me it makes all the difference. I look forward to trying a different length soon, and maybe a different volume? Thanks so much AnnSimone!
