Decent food, poor service.
This was our first visit to Farrar's Bistro since it became a sit-down restaurant. It's a small restaurant with great outdoor seating, and decent food, but unfortunately, that was overshadowed by
the poor service we received.
Our male server appeared to be in his late 20's - mid 30's (didn't get his name, unfortunately), had a huge chip on his shoulder and acted as though he was doing us an enormous favor by waiting on us. At one point after our food arrived, we asked for silverware, and he informed us he was busy with his other tables and would get back to us later. No apologies, no smiles, no service. He had a bad attitude, and it lasted the entire evening.
We could overlook the over-priced food as this is one of VERY few, non-chain restaurants in the Salmon Creek/Felida are of Vancouver; however, over-priced food combined with poor customer service is enough to have us drive the extra 15 minutes down to Portland or even downtown Vancouver where we will find better food options and where customer service is the priority.…
