Delicious Mountain Dining, perfect Environment!. I've been here to dine with my husband several times before we were married. The food and ambience was so spectacular that we decided to have our wedding rehearsal there as well. Here's the down low:

The ambience is spectacular. It is a husband/wife couple that own and run the place, and you are bound to see them both hard at work alongside their servers when you visit. The husband is an artist and has painted quite a few beautiful eclectic paintings on the wall, and the decorations are eclectic pub like as well. The lighting is spectacular- words can't describe how fun of an environment it is! There is a lowered hearth and fireplace with couches and tables, great for apres after a day of turns at hood.

The bar is fully stocked, the prices are decent, and the bartenders are great. The pub scene is lively, and they more often than not have live music.

The food is spectacular. Everything is from scratch and is high quality. They make a bunch of BBQ dishes, all their own homemade eclectic sauces. Also their mac n cheese is wonderful- akin to that served at the Montage in pdx. Everything we've tried has been fantastic.

For our rehearsal dinner, they catered everything wonderfully for us, they were EXTREMELY flexible with what we were looking for, and the prices were reasonable. Every single one of our friends and family were very well taken care of and had a great time.

This place is fantastic, I'm very pleased to have the some of my happiest momments here:)

Macaroni and Cheese that you will fantasize about.. We just 'discovered' the Skyway recently. During these record snowstorms this year, we were on the hunt for an open restaurant, and we ended up at the Skyway. Primarily a pub, it's a really interesting space. There's a nice casual dining area that with a sunken hearth and fireplace, and the low-tin ceilings, eclectic decor and live music, the atmosphere is really great. There is really great art on the walls too.

The food was a really pleasant surprise. This a 'from-scratch' kind of kitchen, from the bacon to the mac-n-cheese the kitchen pumps out some really high-quality comfort food. We were recommended to try their 'Crack-n-cheese' by a server, and it was the best idea I've ever been given. O... M... G.... I've never had mac-n-cheese like that. It's home-made with a variety of cheeses, creamy and tasty, with a crunchy crust. ::auugugugugugghh::: Ever since then, I've been dreaming about it. Seriously. The service is VERY casual and friendly and the drinks are excellent.

Skyway has been added to my favourite local spots list. I think lots of people drive by it to reach the slopes without realizing what a hidden treasure it is. If you haven't tried the Skyway, do it. It's perfect for apres-ski, fill up on warm, really good food, have a beer, a cocoa (also TO DIE FOR) and sit by the fireplace to listen to the live music. Great place. 100% recommended to all.
