Disregard Tedassur; Fantastic Barbershop.
I disagree with Tedassur.
Rudy is a phenomenal barber, and employs only phenomenal barbers, so there's no problem with the quality of the cuts. Good things are worth waiting for, but as Sanseven said, the barbershop is often very busy.
Rudy has tried taking no appointments, and then taking appointments only, and in both cases people were upset (the former because there was no way around waiting in a long line for a good haircut, the latter because walk-ins got no service).
He does take both, but you have to realize that, logically, appointments come first. I'm sure he wasn't deliberately ignoring Tedassur, he was just busy making conversation with his customer (and no, it's not a club for his buddies, he just makes great friends with his regular customers, which the man no doubt was, and they do talk about their lives). He might have said to Tedassur that he was too busy if that was the case, but Tedassur also could have said something (you'd think he would have realized that he ought to somewhere around five minutes into his wait, not 25). Instead, he sat there like a bump on a log and then was miraculously outraged enough to post his silly grievances here.
Rudy and his barbers are, again, fantastic, and their services are worth every penny. Just be sure to set up an appointment if you don't want to wait or risk being turned down on a busy day.
Best Haircuts in the Area. Vee's barbershop is the best barbershop in the area the only thing is that you have to make an appointment since the barber is very busy, I have never left unhappy with my hair and the barber uses the best equipment. Do not listen to the other review this is the barbershop cal ahead of time ask for rudy great for any guy
More a Good 'Ol Boys' Club than a Barber Shop.
...and chances are you're not a member. This is the first time I have had to walk out of a barber shop.
If you're looking for a place to get a haircut this is NOT it. The barber, I presume was the owner, was nearly done his buddy's buzz-cut when I got there. He did not acknowledge me when I came in, nor did he let me know how long the wait might be. **25 minutes later**, they were still chatting away, with clippers going. The whole time he complained about his financial situation, tax situation, medical situation, family situation... just about anything and everything that was going wrong in his life.
Ironically, he clearly wasn't really interested in giving many haircuts.
I doubt this place will be around much longer, which is sad, as the nearby Great Clips just closed up shop, and if he got his act together, could really capitalize on local demand.
