Very Funny Comedy. I had no idea this was in Beaverton and I only live a couple of miles away. I am glad to have a good comedy club in town now! My husband and I went last night and we both had a great time. I will be going back again with friends soon. The cheesecake is pretty good two and the drink I had was also pretty tasty. I would eat a real meal before the show as the menu is somewhat limited. I did want to mention that there is a two item drink/food order in addition to the show. I think we spent around $40 - $50 total last night for two of us to see the show but it was worth it.

AMAZING!!!. My boyfriend and I went to the Jester for the first time this weekend and were very surprised to find such a great time in Beaverton! Since we hadn?t ever been there before the wait staff was very helpful in suggesting drinks and delicious food to try. We were crying because of how funny the comedian was!!! I would suggest this place to any and everyone who is looking for a good time!! For after the comedy show there is a bar right across the street. Easy location, free parking, up scale establishment at a decent price.

Great comedy, not so great environment. Fisrt of all, the comics were great! They were almost funny enough to make me forget about the atmosphere. There is an old saying about putting lipstick on a pig and that is the sense we had at Jesters. It is an old commicial park that someone had the idea to dress up as a gallery and comedy club, among other things. This works well for old warehouses and factories but not generic business parks.

A part of The Jester's mantra is an emphasis on class. The walls are drapped in fabric and the tables are set with black linen and the tableware is good quality. Then you are served soda or tea in a CAN and you have a menu that looks like a foo foo version of club food (which really wasn't half bad but was just fancy club food). Additionally the tables were very close together and the waitresses wore T-shirts (class?).

Interestingly, no one checked our tickets when we arrived. We sat ourselves and never had to show our tickets...anyone could just walk in off the street and join the party.

Bottom line: The atmosphere does not do justice to the talent. If class is what the owners are going for, they really fell short. Stop wasting good lipstick on an ugly pig...PLEASE find a better locale!

Great comedy & ambiance, too bad it has to be in Beaverton...... I planned a last minute double date with some friends last night and decided to try something different - Jester's. The staff was great, the venue was clean and nice, the drinks were fantastic, the appetizer (chips and salsa) was so-so and the comedians were very funny!

After having been to Harvey's and never wanting to return, it was nice to find another comedy club around that could deliver the goods. The only major downside was the location. Driving all the way to Beaverton for a show and then having to drive back through downtown in order to get some late night happy hour and continue our evening was the only negative side of our date night.

Best Comedy Club in Portland. So you may have to drive out to Beaverton. Well worth it. This comedy club is fantastic and the comedians just keep getting better. I always laugh non-stop. Added bonus, you don't have to wait in a line like at Harvey's, and the drinks here are worth the price. Classy food, very nice and upscale building, free parking, and the staff is great. Plus, a wine list with local wineries that is very reasonable. We have not eaten here yet, but the food we have seen looks great. My only complaint would be that one night when just my husband and I went, the hostess sat a random man that came by himself at our table without asking. It was pretty awkward.

Great Entertainment for the Price!. Didn't know about Jester's until a co-worker told me about it! We decided to give it a try instead of going all the way to downtown Portland! I was laughing so hard I was almost crying! They also make one good margarita! It was $15.00 well spent and I think next time we go we'll have dinner there as well!

Great comedy club in Beaverton. Of all places!!. My boyfriend and I went to the Jester club on a Saturday night and it was great. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the drinks were great and well priced. I would recommend the Jokstertini, it was delicious! My boyfriend had the beer on tap which was also very good. The wait staff was so efficient, they were always there whenever our drinks were almost empty! And the comedy! Oh my gosh it was freaking hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing! I think everyone should check out The Jester Comedy Club!!

Beaverton has nightlife?!. I was so excited to find this place on citysearch. My husband and I rarely get out of the house together so our hopes were pretty high. Honestly, I thought we were in the wrong place when we got there. It was a business park! Things werent bad though. Besides the funny dressed-up-conference room look, it was great. We laughed a lot, had a great reasonably priced dinner, and a good drink. This was over a month ago and Im looking it up now to come back again!

Comedy club in Beaverton?. My first experience at Jester's was so fun. The two comedians that night were hilarious.

It's smoke-free, so this is a major bonus. $15 to get in, plus 2 item purchase once inside. The food and drinks are pretty good, and about averaged priced. I would recommend the Jestertini! Quite tasty!

The 2nd time I went, the comedians were not as funny, but still a good time. It's nice Beaverton has finally opened something like this in the area. I highly recommend going.

Friends Bar is across the street, but it is very small and smokey. I do not recommend this place if you are non-smoker.
