Rich Landar tunes pianos for the pros in town and he should be the only one you allow to tune yours. His very professional, "hands-on" approach to the process makes up for all the tuners I've hired in the past who tinkered with the thing for a few minutes and called it "done." He took the time to make sure every key was spot on, adjusted the sustain pedal, and even explained things as he worked, giving me much more insight into the tuning process. His price was very fair, my piano sounds better than it ever has, and my hat goes off to a good guy who knows his stuff! :)

I highly recommend Rich for piano repairs and tuning because he is very knowledgable, friendly, affordable and honest. He gave us a great rate and gave us plenty of good tips about keeping our piano in fine working order. I now see why the pros use him often and why he has such a great reputation.
