More Spendy Less Trendy. Its almost to expensive to walk through the doors, I prefer the Galaxy or BOG to this overpriced parade of people that all look the same. The food is decent, if you can afford it, or see it! Smallest portions of sub-par food in P-town! But, a lot of "cool" people hang there so perhaps, I am just not that cool.
Great drinks and service but the music is too loud. I went on a Saturday night with a friend around 9:30pm. The place wasn't very crowded which was a surprise. The service was awesome! Our waitress was very attentive and made great suggestions. Their cocktails are wonderful. Some of the combinations were very imaginative. The music was ok but it was way too loud. You had to scream at your friend during a conversation which was hard to do after awhile because you could hardly think due to all the noise. The DJ was right by the front door which was a weird place to be. I will definitely go back to check out their happy hour. The menu looked really good.
Love this eastside bar.
Whoa, this place is great!! the atmosphere, the decor, the food, the drinks....all are fantastic!
I had a great time on a Monday night playing Jenga of all things!!
They have a great happy hour too. Cheap food and drinks.
Loved it.
Really flavorful food and great drink concoctions.
This place on east burnside (a few blocks up from Doug Fir and right across from Hippo hardware in the big red building) gives off an interesting vibe. A bit hip, but the skate art and the open DJ night suggest a tone of local arrtist support, which Im into anywhere. The drinks here are awesome, not much beer on tap, but if you like an extensive and interesting drink menu, go here My favorites are the Maddy Hatter, the Pretty boy and the spiced toddy. Good stuff. The food is amazing- no french fries here. Snack on the curried mushrooms, try the pork belly sandwich with a duck egg on top, and the ribs are so good. Happy hour is the time to go, but earlier on a weeknight works too...(Im not into crowds and this place has sometimes got them on the weekend, sometimes annoying) The bartender with a beard was very nice! (and cute!)
Its figuring out its niche, but the product it offers is well worth checking out.
Editorial Review. Hipster bar offers small plates, unusual cocktails and DJs almost every night of the week.
