Horrible Managers, do not work there!

Managers do not know how to treat their employee's / customers. The lady manager is fake and seems to act unethical of racial differences behind the scene.

Employee's work hard, get paid minimum of course, but if you make a few mistakes as an employee during the 2 weeks of the so called "training", you will get fired.

You also get no tip throughout those 2 weeks therefore they take advantage of that.

And last, the sushi is frozen beforehand for a few days and tastes stale, this is from past job experience there! :)

• Pros: Waiters are friendly and work hard
• Cons: Sushi is old, manager is fake and unfriendly

poor quality and lacked authenticity

i had better sushi back home in orange county and the chefs there weren't even japanese. the taste was horrendous and if you're a sushi fanatic like i am, don't go there. the variety was weak and the quality of the food was poor. im a server at sushi restaurant back in the oc and they didn't even have the proper equipment to make the sushi. for example, they put the sushi rice in a ice cooler. the roll came out all weird and little effort was put into it. the chef there didnt even know how to prepare ponzu sauce and lacked many basics as a sushi chef. food on the tracks were on there too long and brought the sushis taste down. this restaurant is giving sushi a bad rep. the happy hour was cheap but the taste was bad and not worth going back to.

Excellent sushi

Extremely fresh sushi and...tons of it are out by the time they open too! I've been to other sushi boat places where you have to wait forever for them to start getting things out on the belts. Friendly chefs (the two wait-people there aren't super friendly--the past two times we went, they acted like they were doing us a favor waiting on us..maybe they'll warm up). Tempura was great and the potstickers very yummy. It will be a regular lunch place for me and my husband.

• Pros: Fresh sushi, opens early, lots of food out by opening.
