worst hair experience of my life. I've had my hair cut at Bishops almost a dozen times. This time, the day before I start a new job, after 3 hours in the chair, I walked out with hair the texture of straw, literally, and the color more blonde than Monroe. I was horified when I got home. I cannot even get it to take to a round brush. My hair looks a blind, unschooled idiot did it.

Absolutely the worst hair experience of my life. This is the Bishops on Bvtn-Hillsday Hwy by the way..so never go there unless you want to wear a hat for 6 months!

Best place for Hair in Downtown Portland!!!. Awesome style, awesome service, super nice peeps and free beer! People at this shop arn't too cool for school, so I like to go here for my hair.

Portlands Original make you a babe ...r -shop!. I like a place that has confidant stylists and 'non-pretentious' atmosphere. My stylist (whose was fabulous but her name escapes me) was professional and quick to it. I left feeling like I got my sass back. Thanks Bishops!

came for the beer, keep coming back for the awesome service.. The stylists at the NW Bishops always make me feel comfortable, they are warm and helpful. I go in unsure of what I want and consistently leave looking fabulous. The wait is never very long and the location is convenient, surrounded by bars, restaurants and coffee shops. I prefer the NW location because of the professional staff, open atmosphere and the central location. Prices are reasonable for great, trendy haircuts that work with individual styles. I am not someone who has the time in the morning to keep up an elaborate style and they take that into account, giving me a cut and style I can easily maintain at home. Love this place!

great walk-in haircut. Got in and out with a great hair cut on my lunch break. No sales pressure, convenient location for someone like me who works down town.

Barbershop is Back. I was happy to see that the former 'Bishops Salon' has had a make over and is now a Barbershop. Barbershop prices, free Miller while you wait, and the cut was great.

love it!. I was ready for a change, and got a fabulous stylist who helped liberate me from the scrappy layers i was hanging on to. Got a short and sassy look, and love it. The stylist was totally helpful and gave me simple suggestions on how to recreate the style when i got home... which is the point right?! awesome.

I Heart Carmen!!!. I love Bishops salon & love love love Carmen! She is the only person I will let touch my hair in this city!!! She has a flare for fashion and knows whats shes doing with her scissors at all times! If your looking for a chic salon that plays great music, makes a great drink & knows how to give a rockin' hair cut then look no further!

I <3 Bishops the Salon!. The free drinks are fabulous as is the ambiance, but the best part of course is my hair. I usually end up having to bring my son in and they are always very sweet and understanding about it, giving him all the foil pieces he can handle to keep him occupied and they are pretty generous with their white cranberry juice too.

The staff is wonderful! I have had 2 different manicurists and they were both talented and sweet. Carmen has been doing my hair and is wonderful at helping me find new ways to keep it interesting. I get compliments all the time, it's been long, short, very short, brown, red, almost black and now almost blond! I have always found it pretty easy to get an appointment when its convenient for me and I've never had anything but a very positive experience. :-)

Good Hair and I get drinks?!. I come from Seattle just to get my hair cut at Bishops.

The space is airy and big. Everyone is really nice and personable.

I get so many compliments on my hair when I come back home and while I'm there I get to sip on delicious drinks, all the while I'm gettin beautified'.

I heart Bishops.
