I have enjoyed both my experiences at Vicinato very much. The white wine fondu, the olive bread, the anti-pasta, and especially the wine is quite tasty! Wade is a world of wealth when it comes to wine knowledge and has taught me so much in just my two visits. It is a place where I can show up after work and feel relaxed while hanging out with enjoyable people in a modern old-world environment. I love the double garage doors that open to the courtyard - I am going to have a difficult time not stopping in every evening in the summer. The Soave rocked, while the Rose of Montepulciano was hearty and yet refreshing at once - thanks Wade! See you soon...

My date and I dropped into Vinicato for a happy hour meal. We walked in and instantly liked the environment. The tables are tasteful and in the interior welcoming. We sat at a window table and enjoyed the sun warming our table. The wait staff was dressed in black t-shirts and neat. We were approached and offered menus striaght off. We ordered the hummus combo plate and the caprise salad on sticks (interesting twist on a classic). I attempted iced tea, but was told that they were thinking of additing to the menu but do not currently carry iced tea. We were brought our plates and silverware wrapped in napkins. Upon examination of the plates we discovered that both had food residue remaining on the plates. We pointed this out to our server and asked for new plates. Our server picked up the first plate and responded, "They've been sanitized..." rubbed the smudge and continued "...I guess I can bring you knew ones." He brought us new plates and commented many of the plates had similar smudges and that he should "check the dishwasher." The hummus was good; the pita bread with the hummus was excellent. The salad on a stick was very good. Over all we liked the bar; the prices were reasonable, food enjoyable. But alas, the services while attentive were snotty and unconcerned with our true enjoyment.
