I found this clinic to be very caring and professional as well. Jaime went over every thing with me a was great with my dog. I appreciate finding such great care close to home.

I'm going to have to agree with Oregon98. I have spent close to $1000 at this vet and they still don't know what is wrong with my cat. I always have a different vet, they are always rushed and everything just seems to be about milking me for money. They really don't seem to care about me or my pet, and they made a diagnosis of one thing but said I just had to get a $300 test to confirm and it turns out - that wasn't it.

Instead of calling me and discussing different options, I had to bring him back in and pay another $65 to discuss more tests. The recommend expensive tests and when they turn out fine, they charge me for bringing him in again. This has happened 4 times now and most of the tests don't even fit his symptoms when I go look it up online.

The mark up on their medicine is almost unbelievable. Triple what it is anywhere else. The vet I had for ten years retired so I gave woodstock a try. I really feel taken advantage of. I have tried to call and complain but even the receptionist is so busy she can't even sit on the phone with me without putting me on hold 50 times.

Julie the morning receptionist looks like a gang member and like she will shank you. Such a bad attitude!

Caring and Professional. I took my dog to Woodstock from 2001 until yesterday and was always impressed with the care they provided. Woodstock has been through a number of changes over the years, and we stuck with them. Despite those changes my dog was always welcomed as family and well cared for. Any business can try and sell extras, and it's the role of the consumer to decide what's best for them. Do research and establish your own informed opinions.

My dog was diagnosed with cancer in February of this year. Woodstock referred us to Oncology at VCA Raleigh HIlls where we proceeded with therapy. The experience and level of care received was second to none.

Yesterday my dog lost his battle with disease, and we ended his suffering back at VCA Woodstock. The staff was incredible, giving us the time we needed to say our goodbyes and help him move on. It was a horrible day, but was made a little better by the fact that the staff shared it with us with tears, hugs and reassurances. They care about the health and lives of their patients and the ongoing experiences of their patients' families.

Nice, caring staff, homey atmosphere. I don't get why these other reviews are so negative. I recently moved to the Woodstock neighborhood in Portland, OR from L.A., where I was a regular client at a VCA there. So I decided to give the local VCA hospital here a try. They were wonderful! The second I walked in, this place seemed so nice. In fact, my dog even liked it (and she hates everything to do with vets). They greeted me and my dog, gave her treats and made her feel comfy. The vet, Dr Horlings, spent a ton of time with us, even though we had a free first exam coupon from their website. I never felt like a "number" as another review said. On the contrary, I was treated like their best client and the prices seemed on par with other similar clinics that I called before making my appointment. I will be going to VCA Woodstock from now on.

corporate animal care-avoid this place. This is the 3rd time I have given this vet center a try. What we have here is corporate animal care. Staff spent little time with me; did not provide thorough options or treatment; did not explain the treatment; and wanted me to take my cat to their business partner-an after hours emergency vet which would have cost me hundreds. On each visit I have had to call after the appointment because there was something that wasn't explained thoroughly. The vet treated me like a number. If you really want the best care for your animal, avoid this business. At the end of my visit I was given a piece of paper with instructions versus 1:1 information. The staff is rushed and chaotic.
