BEWARE! BEWARE!
Do not walk away... RUN from these jokers. We contracted this outfit to store our car and provide "Shuttle Service". A quick synopsis: Late for pick up, "shuttle" is a junker sedan full of garbage. No show for pick up on return trip, "this # is temporarily disconnected" finally got our car with no gas and +miles. Cost twice as much as the storage fee for the overnight lodging, cab fare, ect. due to no pick up. They refuse to reimburse expenses or refund our prepayment of the contract they breached. We failed to research this cruddy outfit, if we had we would have seen the BBB rating, the rip off report and all the other warnings. Every thing I read I found to be true. Fake reviews, disgruntled employees, use of stored vehicle's, fraud, false advertising, failure to preform contracted duties ect...The place is a junk yard with zero security. Some of the fake reviews even sport the names of current employee's. We are filing suit. Stay away from these jokers... Far Away!!
You have been warned.........
Parkrose RV Storage, courteous and attentive employees Leo and Stephanie take good care of our toys and let us play with them and put them away on our busy schedule. That is a bigger deal than the super great price! Thanks!
! BEWARE ! A to Z Bargains / Parkrose RV Storage is a shady operation. They are dishonest and deceitful. Dave the owner pays employees to write false reviews on Citysearch and spam on Craigslist. They have an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT use this place for anything. You have been warned!
RUN AWAY!!, Don't even walk away from
this place...RUN!!
I contacted Parkrose RV and made arrangements for them to store my vehicle for at least a year. After they'd had it for 15 months I had a vehcile shipper contact them to pick it up for shipment to the East Coast where I now live. Not only did they not have the vehicle extracted from the nightmare that is their "storage lot", but it no longer is operable! I literally DROVE it to them and had them drop me off at PDX for my flight out of town. Now the battery is dead and the transmission is stuck!! It's still being worked on by my Mechanic!! WTF did these people do to my truck?
Bottom line so far is an extra $200 for a missed pickup time because they didn't have it out and ready (it took them 2 weeks to finally get it out). but I also had to pay $300 extra to have it loaded and unloaded off of the carrier because it's inoperable. That's $500 extra Parkrose has costs me and ITS STILL NOT FIXED!!
This "business" has an F rating from the Oregon BBB.....I should have checked before I left it there. Don't make the mistake I did.
RUN AWAY!!!
Parkrose RV Storage is troublesome. Their initial rate for storage is cheap, but is raised significantly after 6 months, in my experience. The staff are rude if not outright hostile, in my opinion, reacting to questions about policies with, in my experience, hostility and a poor attitude. I was particularly disturbed to find that my property, stored at a lot located at 10277 NE Sandy Blvd. had been moved to another lot on 115th & Marx without my knowledge or permission. In fact, I only found this out when I went to pay my monthly storage fee at the usual location, only to find it vacant - the staff had failed to provide me with a change of address or location, despite having my mailing, residential, and email addresses in addition to my home phone number. I had to call to find out where to pay my monthly fee as well as the location of my property. Amusingly, the old location (from what I saw) had a Better Business Bureau certificate on the wall, which upon contact with the BBB, proved to be false. The manager of the old and new lots, Leo, in my opinion, reacts to simple requests with hostility and a poor attitude - I have yet to receive a copy of my storage contract, and he appeared reluctant to provide one. It would be well worth it to pay more to store elsewhere. I am extremely distrustful of Parkrose RV Storage based on my personal experience with them.
unauthorized use of stored vehicle.
We stored our vehicle with Parkrose RV Storage in July 2011. Upon our return in September, we discovered our truck had 17 additional miles on it, with an opened hitch package inside and dog prints all over our backseat. When asked to admit that they had used the truck in an unauthorized manner the staff became belligerent and uncooperative.
I would NOT recommend using this facility, since you have to leave vehicle keys with them.
What a relief !.
We were forced to find a place to store our RV due to the City of Portland's archaeic policies. A to Z not only gave us the best price but superior service along with it.
We started out at their outside lot and felt comfortable right away with their staff - Lisa & Jim. They provide excellent service and are always pleasant. Dave has been great, too. When they were able to offer inside storage, we signed up right away.
All that I need to do to get my vehicle is call 24 hours in advance. They make themselves available at any time so I don't have to rush to be there before the store itself closes.
Our vehicle is always presented to us in excellent condition and with all contents present and accounted for - a true plus in our mind.
They log the vehicle out and log it back in. If we cannot return it the date we give them, all we do is give them a quick call and they make a note that it will be brought back by "x" date & time.
I have and will continue to recommend them to friends who find themselves in need of vehicle storage. They may need to expand to meet the needs of this community.
All in all, I am a very satisfied customer.
Reliable, affordable, pleasurable parking experience. I parked my car here for 10 months because I don't really use it and live downtown. It was a great rate (probably the best you'll find) and I wish I'd known how long exactly I wanted because the couple of times I had to renew, it was hard to reach the billing secretary and multiple phone calls left for her did not receive a response. But overall, anybody else I reached (and they answer your calls 24/7) was pleasant, very eager to be helpful, and always accomodating to my needs/questions. When I picked it up, they took the time to get it running again (disconnected the battery so it wouldn't die during the off time) and I think they'd have done minor repairs so it was okay to drive if needed. The nice people at the lot gave me advice about fluid checks, oil changes, etc. and driving directions home. Overall, they were extremely helpful and couldn't have done more. The location is a bit strange to walk to/hard to find from the bus stop (they do offer a shuttle service for an extra fee - I'm very poor at the moment and didn't want to spend the 20 bucks) and I don't think a grassy lot is the best place for a car to be sitting in our rainy climate. But this business gets an A++ for customer service and flexibility.
Great for Gifts.
I wanted to find something for my aunt's birthday. This store has a great selection of collectibles, porcelain, etc.
I was able to find some china and other items that my aunt simply loved.
Thank you soooo much. I will be back for more. These guys were very helpful.
Affordable Bargains all around. Finally a store with a commitment to customer service and the inventory to back it up. Many stores including the Goodwill have gone up in price over the years. Not this one. Their prices stay affordable. They have so many different appliances, tools and clothes just to name a few. Check this store out, you wont be disappointed.
