The staff is so friendly and the products make my skin look so dark! I absolutely love it. This is my first time tanning and I couldn't be any more happier with the price ($21.88 a month), helpful staff, and the beds itself. I have tanned a total of approximately 10 times, and I have gotten so dark. My skin color looks so natural, my friends are constantly asking if I went on vacation or something. But I just recommend Sun's Up tanning! I love it here. The first day in, I had a problem with sun spots on my stomach, but the manager gave me a 25% off item (due to my membership, everything is 25% off) Arrest Sun Stop remover, works so great. I see no spots! Very thankful a friend has recommended it to me, so I can pass the word around. Costumer #: 67144.

I think SunsUp has always done their best to provide a great experience whenever I go tanning. Cleanliness, good customer service and pricing is why I started tanning there and I have not been disappointed yet. I have noticed that in a couple of review the people mention things that are just not factual which leads me to believe that they have never actually been to a SunsUp. Before you take the word of these anonymous "reviewers" (who usually have some sort of axe to grind) just check out the place for yourself.

Honest Pros & Cons. I originally switched from another tanning business to Suns Up primarily because the SunsUp tans didn't expire. When I signed up, I was issued a card. This is a common/reasonable way to identify a client. And my experiences thus far had been good. I recently went in to tan and was surprised and disappointed to see them using a new system. A FINGER PRINT ID!!!! I'm sure most people just go along with it and like the ease of use, not thinking beyond the convenience. When I expressed the fact that I didn't want to provide a FINGERPRINT to a tanning salon, I was kindly given another option... Don't tan at SunsUp!!! Fingerprint or go someplace else. They wouldn't accept me continuing to use my card. I have a security background and was concerned over being fingerprinted by the US government for Homeland Security reasons. Now a tanning business wants to take and store my fingerprint. With the amount of ID theft going on, and business's not taking the precautions to ensure the publics information is secure, I'm shocked that SunsUp is going in this direction. A company that is going to REQUIRE a fingerprint needs to prove to me that they have a security systems in place. If you are concerned about a tanning establishment storing your fingerprint, I suggest that you don't go to SunsUp. Hopefully they will start giving their clients that aren't interested in this, another option.
Great prices and Friendly Staff. I have been tanning at the Milwaukie store since it opened a few years ago. The staff has been very helpful with making sure that I recieve the color that I want. They are always very nice and not pushy when they talk about products and specials. I would recommend Sunsup to everyone becuase I have had nothing but a great expirence with them.
TERRIBLE SERVICE, UNSANITARTY. I have never been given such poor service in a tanning salon in my life. Not only are the sales people rude and unknowledgeable, but they push packages and lotions on you every time you come in. Every time that I have tanned there i've had to ask for my bed to be recleaned, I have been given dirty towels, the bulbs are uneven and old. Their claim that they are replaced twice as often is completely bogus. They recycle their bulbs into other beds. Oh, and at meetings...THEY ASK THEIR EMPLOYEES TO WRITE GOOD REVIEWS ON CITY SEARCH. Dont be fooled by the good reviews...i've never heard a good word about this place.
I am sorry to hear that your SunsUp visits weren't up to your standards. I would like to say that all of our employees are well trained and are there to provide the best service and infomation on packages and products to help keep your skin healthy and also give you the tan you desire. We do not recycle our bulbs, if we did no one would get tan but I will follow this with a customer's statement about what our locations really provide for our customers.
