Amazing hair every time. I have been going to Stacy for years and she is amazing. Whether you are wanting something simple or extremly edgy, Stacy is the person for you. There has been many times that I went to Stacy and had no idea what I wanted but Stacy was always willing to suggest a new fresh idea. I dont like to look like everyone and when I leave I don't, I walk out with something new and hot. Not only that, the conversation is always so great. Stacy is such a great person that you have to meet..You wont regret it.

A new edgy stylist that knows what she's doing..... I found Savvy hair earlier this year and have been quite pleased with my hair. She actually does more than hair... waxing, color, even sells product that I've never seen in portland and doesn't overcharge you. I've enjoyed Stacey everytime I've gone to see her. She's got such a boistrous personality that welcomes you through her door and kind of wants to make you go have a drink with her after you're done. She really cares about each thread of hair and has great attention to detail. I love her salon, It's chic and hip and everything but gloomy and dull. I would recommend Savvy to anyone, go check her out, you'd be pleased.

The only person who can touch my hair. I have been seeing Stacy since the summer of 2002 and have never regretted a single cut, color, or highlight. She has seen me through every color on the spectrum and virtually every length, and each time I have been exceptionally pleased. Stacy's collaborative and fun approach helps take an idea of yours, or even a current trend, and customize it for you so you look your absolute best. I have sent numerous friends and family to her over the years, and even direct the occasional stranger who stops me on the street to tell me how much they love my hair. She's that good--people you don't know will approach you to ask about your hair. Check her out, you won't be disappointed!

Best Color Job!. I have had several hair stylists in Portland and no one could ever give me the exact color I was looking for, even though they said they were "color specialists". Stacy got it right the first time and never let's me down. The studio is relaxing and Stacy always delivers the best customer service. My search for the perfect stylist ended when I found Savvy.

A Miracle Worker. Stacy was able to accomplish the impossible. Seriously. I have seen stylists all over the country and even in Europe. My hair is weird: I have fine strands but thick hair. This combination has frustrated stylists because it doesn't show a cut very easily. Stacy was able to give me a very cool cut (kind of model-lish) that worked with my texture and face instead of fighting it.

I also have weird colouring. My natural hair is medium to dark blonde that has both ash and warm tones. No one has been able to lighten it without pulling a lot of red and especially orange tones, regardless of high lift or double-processing. So for many years I learned to do it myself but at a great cost and with some occasionally bizarre tones. Again- it took a few adjustments- Stacy has transformed my long, impossible hair into a beautiful, multifaceted blonde that shimmers! It looks incredibly natural, like when I was a child. It's in great condition.

Stacy is relentless and she never gave up, despite the fact that I came to her with some serious challenges. Now my hair looks better than it ever has!

great stylist. Stacy does a damn good job. she has great products which i haven't seen elsewhere and she gave me a cut i have been trying to get for a long time. i always had problems with my hair poofing out on sides and she totally lined me out with a straightener and taught me how to use it. 100% recommend her to any one.

Would not take my hair anywhere else!. I've been searching for that one salon where I feel like I will not go anywhere else for a very long time and this is it. For starters it is so easy to get to and it's in a cute neighborhood in NW Portland. When you walk into the place everything is very clean, new and updated but sitll gives you that wonderful vintage retro feel. I love it! As for the service if you can get better than a 10 on a rating scale then it's a 20. Stacy is so talented at what she does and knows exactly how to get in your head to figure out what you want. She deliveries everytime. Now her personality and conversation is on a whole new level, you might walk in being a first time customer but you'll leave feeling like a friend and the conversations are never dull or short winded. You'll definitely have a wonderful experience a Savvy Studio call and make an appt. today you will be so happy you did!

Stacy is a Color Wizard!. So for the last 10 years or so, I've been going to random stylists that either my friends would recommend or stylists that two friends would discuss over coffee as I evesdropped. I was always afraid of color commitment and no one could suggest colors that actually fit me or my personality. I was always walked in with a picture of some celebrity and was horrified when I walked out of their salon looking nothing like Jenifer Aniston (realizing now that it probably wasn't the stylists fault) In the past I always analized each pricey visit to the stylist and thought this is what I paid for? Either (A) The stylist couldn't focus on me because her next client was already waiting in the lobby and impatiently waiting to get into my seat (B) or No one has ever had the confidence to choose a color for me and say "Honey this is you, just trust me!" (C) or They were an unatural shade of blonde with 'Lee Press On's' that gouged my skull as they rushed through to get to the next appointment.

I met Stacy last fall while opening a business account for her. Right away I could tell that she was a down to earth person who loved what she did and always number one in her life was her son. The first trip to her salon blew me away. No salon gossip, no waiting in line, and she took her time talking and getting to know me because she didn't overbook her clients...(More importantly she schedules on Saturday AND Sunday) Savvy is located out of her basement and never have I gone to someones home and felt at home so quickly, In fact ask for a beer! As far as cost goes I've always paid for the "name" and now I'm actually getting my moneys worth.

Stacy is an amazing stylist - SO glad I found her!. I went to Stacy to get a color, and had an amazing experience. Her salon is very cozy, beautiful and comfortable. When I met Stacy I felt like I've known her for years - so friendly and easy to talk to. She gave me a very thorough consultation and the results of her work exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to go back for a cut and color in a couple of months. I highly recommend Stacy for an exceptional service, quality and reasonable prices for what you get.
