Lola, a place for peace

Transported to a Happy Place. Over the years I've had hundreds of facials at dozens of spas from LA to Seattle. The moment my foot crossed the threshold at Lola, it felt like something wonderful was about to happen. The gentle embrace of aromatherapy, the calm, soft decor, the flicker of candlelight on a grey Portland day created such a warm welcoming environment. I instantly felt transported to a happy place. The facial that followed was nearly mystical. The music, the aromatherapy, Amanda's skillful touch and the palpable sense of her being so present in her every movement, her attention to the face, the scalp, the hands and feet... it felt a little like crossing over into eternity.

Fantastic Facial!. I recently visited Spa Lola and fell in love! I arrived a few minutes late to my appointment, and was preparing to not be able to be seen, but it was quite the opposite. The moment I walked in the door, Amanda greeted me and told me to head back to the room to get ready. I was then given warm hand and feet covers to have during the facial. Each of the treatments on my face felt phenomenal and left me feeling completely refreshed! Afterwards, instead of pushing me to buy the products she used, (which can be a huge turn off), she simply wrote down the products as recommendations. I ended up buying the face wash she used, and it felt so nice not to be pressured into buying things. Amanda at Lola is wonderful!!! Highly recommend!. Amanda at Lola came highly recommended to me. Every treatment I have had at her beautiful space has been wonderful. She is friendly, professional, accommodating, and simply a joy to be around. I always leave her spa more refreshed and calm than when I arrived. I highly recommend Amanda at Lola - a place for peace.

Lovely Little Salon. I arrived several minutes late for my appointment and frustrated because I had left my gift certificate at home...twice. I expected to be told that I was too late, and needed to reschedule, but I was greeted with a smile instead. I got a Detox wrap, which I'd never had before, and Amanda explained exactly what she was going to do before she did it. I got a lovely face and scalp massage while I was "baking" in the wrap.
