I came in the other day because I was completely lost on why I could not access the internet on my computer. Demetre however was quick to locate the problem and fix it. If it was not for his awesome service I might of actually had to start seeing my friends and family in person. I'm only joking. But no, great service from a guy who really knows what he is talking about. The tips he gave me to preserve my computer were great as well. Thank you again Happy Hamster, and thank you Demetre.

FANTASTIC service. I went in and they immediately started working on my computer problems. After twenty minutes and great conversation, it was done! Not only did they refuse to let me pay, but they were just GOOD PEOPLE!

THE BEST. in an age where customer satisfaction seems to be a series of diminishing returns, i'll have to say that zac went above and beyond to address the problems i had with my computer.

i initially brought my laptop in because i was having start-up issues. they were recommended by the i.t. staff and owner of my work. it was initially determined that it was a hd failure. after some misfortunate miscommunications, jay stepped in, took the time to come pick up my laptop and went waaaaaay out of his way to make sure that i was satisfied, even taking a financial loss to rectify the problem.

this place is a shining gem in pdx and i couldn't more highly recommend them! i've never had a business go more out of their way to help me out as a customer as they have. i've never left a review on citysearch before, but i created an account just to leave a review... the level of care they showed deserves 10 stars if i could leave them!

WARNING. I took my computer into Happy Hamster about 3 months ago to get a virus removed. They charged me an outlandish 150 dollars and said if I give them a good review they would give me a discount... They are BRIBING their customers to get good reviews!! It took them a full week to fix it, which cause me a lot of problems. Now I have the SAME virus. I stopped downloading things from the internet and use the anti-virus software they put on my computer. When I called they told they only guaranty their work for 30 days and it would be full price again. He then went on to tell me most of their customers come back 3-4 times a YEAR. I don't know anyone that has viruses that often, interesting.

Use them at your own risk.

Happy Hampster Customer. Happy Hamster is a safe haven for those wtih computer problems. Just go in. Their care factor and speed of service is wonderful. None there intimidate nor give you looks of inferiority. Matter-a-fact, all you see is pure strong interest in solving your problem and seeing that you are completely happy when you walk out the door. I have sent several friends there with their problems and boht were happy as I when done. Yeah, we have a real friend in Portland. Use them.

Happy Customer. Not to exaggerate, but Happy Hamster basically saved my life this weekend. My hard drive crashed, but I didn't know that's what happened, all I knew was that my computer wasn't working right. He said to bring it in, and in the course of an afternoon he was able to diagnose the problem and transfer my files onto a loaner computer, thus allowing me to make the important deadlines I have on Monday and Tuesday. I don't know what I would have done otherwise.

I discovered them this past spring after hearing about them, and I took my computer there for a virus removal. Since then, I had a couple other issues that Zac was able to help me with over the phone. He called back right away and was really helpful, and didn't charge for the advice.

Trust me, if you need computer help in a hurry, these guys are the best!

Very Happy with Happy Hamster!. I took my virus-laden laptop to the Happy Hamster last week, seeking a painless, affordable, and quick solution. The Happy Hamster not only delivered all that I sought, but they provided me with a loaner laptop.

When I picked up my laptop, Zac took time to answer my questions, taught me how to better maintain my computer, and offered over the phone assistance for trouble-shooting should I need it in the future. Such quality service is invaluable!

Staff at the Happy Hamster are efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable, making computer issues much less distressing. Thanks!

Terrific Repair Services. Happy Hamster provides great service! They fixed my home wireless set-up, and helped me by phone several months later when I changed phone companies and couldn't get it working again. They know what they're doing, and they are friendly, thorough and patient. I highly recommend them.

Great Service!. Great Service. Both on the Phone, and in person. Had problems with my battery and AC Adapter. Came in, within 5 minutes took care of the problem. Bought an adapter for $50 and was on my way. Great prices, cheaper than I would have spent anywhere else. I would recommend to anyone in the Portland area, and outside also.

Went to Geek Squad before Happy Hamster. Told me it would cost $50 just to ship my computer out to get looked @, then around $150 to fix. Saved me $150+ and was able to get my computer up and running the same day.

BEST COMPUTER REPAIR SERVICE!. About two months ago I broke my computer while on an airplane. I then preceeded to take it to an apple store since I was still under service; after two weeks there I found out the repair would cost 1,300. I then googled repair shops to find Happy Hamster! Called them, got my computer in that same day, they gave good and easy to find directions to their location, and got my computer in to be diagnosed that day. Within two days they had my computer diagnosed, charged for that, but then I had it completely fixed with in a week for only 175! And once it was diagnosed they gave me a call to tell me the options I had for replacing a part , were clear, easy to understand, and upfront about all costs! No damage was done to my computer in the process either; it came back all in one piece, everything how I'd left it, and ten times better! :) Thank you Happy Hamster! If my comupter ever has another unfortunate experience you can count on seeing me again! :)
