Goose Hollow's Best. Primo happy hour, dinner, lunch, and brunch. Also a good selection of beer, whiskey. Go here.

Great Food, sub-par service. I have gone to the Leaky Roof on three separate occasions. Trip 1: I didn't actually go to eat, but rather met with family toward the end of their dinner. It was evening, and the restaurant was full. The waiter was very nice, and the food appeared just as great as the service.

Trip 2: This time around, it was during happy hour and two of my friends came along. The place wasn't very busy, and the service was generally timely. The waiter however didn't seem to respect us very much. Although we were nearly the only people there.

Trip 3: This next time, it was again happy hour, and I brought my girlfriend with me. We were the only customers this time, and immediately the waiter was short in greeting us. We sat down and got our food timely, but the entire time, the waiter avoided us and didn't even smile. It's as if he didn't want us to be there. The burgers were delicious though.

On almost all of the occasions, we ordered off the happy hour, and tipped. So I can only assume the waiters are very judgmental about serving you based on age. Partially due to their location near a highschool (I'm sure they get a lot of disrespectful youth coming in from next door).

Overall:

- Delicious and well-priced food during happy hour.

- Waiters seem to discriminate based on age.  View Less

Worst service ever. I went to the Leaky Roof on a Sunday morning looking forward to a fantastic breakfast. What we got was the worst service and burnt food. After waiting for 45 minutes half of our our table got their food cold and over cooked. The rest of us waited for another 15 minutes, only to get our pancakes and french toast with no syrup. Finally 20 minutes after getting our pancakes the rest of our food arrived, half was cold and the other half was burnt again. I finally got tired of asking for my coffee that came with our check. There was no compensation offered. An hour and 45 minutes after walking in we all finally had our food and were able to leave. Worst service ever! The worst part is every one in our party had be a server at some point, we were all understanding about a busy day. However, walking away in the middle of a customer inquiring about their food after a hour wait is unacceptable as well as no apology.  View Less View More

superb brunch experience!. I stopped by for breakfast this last weekend and omg! What a perfect place on a rainy morning. The fireplace was going, Stumptown coffee brewing, and happy chatter from the rest of the patrons. My server was friendly and attentive even though he had his hands full with dozens of people.

I'm very particular about my hollandaise sauce, and was not disappointed in the slightest after trying the Californian Bennedict (w/ avacado). Though i didn't have much room for it, I had to try a side order of their bicuits and gravy, and the South would be proud!

The meal was delivered in a timely fashion, the menu was well priced, the presentation was elegant but not fussy, and I heard nothing but compliments from departing patrons.

Thank you Leaky, I'll be back!  View Less
