Where to go if you want to cut to the chase and deal with a real person who gives a s@#*. Glynis not only purged my face of unwanted impurities, but allowed me to purge all of the bs my day had entailed. She offered just the right combination of conversation and relaxation. Additionally, I have incredibly sensitive skin and can usually anticipate a breakout after any kind of facial treatment, but my skin looked and felt amazing during this facial and well after. I could tell that she had truly taken into account the specific needs of my skin and consequently chose the best products for me. Added bonus...no Enya or babbling brook background music and the space is completely unpretentious and comfortable. Having worked in the industry myself, I absolutely appreciated that this was not your average run of the mill spa environment and found it to be way more enjoyable. I will definitely be back and will recommend that my friends do the same.

Guy Friendly. With my wedding coming up my fiance went from compelling me to get my Itali-brows done, to giving me an ultimatum. I had never gone to an esthetician before but she had seen Glynis in the past and told me she would be perfect. The atmosphere in the room was very chill and I found Glynis has an awesome personality. Best of all my face felt incredible and my eyebrows looked great: clean yet still masculine. Any women looking to send their guy to have a brow-job and facial, Glynis is perfect.

Glynis gives good facial!. Glynis did my make-up about a year ago and I loved it! Perfect for the event - not too much, not too little.

When I found out she was working at Gypsy Rose giving facials figured it was a must. Thankfully I was right! The room was lovely and calming. Glynis makes you feel comfortable right away. The products, application and arm and hand massage were great! I left with my skin glowing and smooth.

I went back for a bikini wax and received just as good a service as I had on my previous visit. Glynis is even coaxing me to grow in my heavily tweezed eyebrows to let her give them a better shape. It's hard to do but as I know she'll do a great job with them I'm doing my best to loose my tweezers!

I look forward to my next visit with Glynis and would recommend her happily!

Luxurious and attentive. Let's face it, when I go to the spa, I want to be pampered. With my recent facial from Glynis, I really felt like a rockstar! She was attentive yet not smothering. I loved, loved the steam bath and peppermint towels. Her shoulder and arm massage was just what I needed after a long day, and the thing I will definitely go back for is her delicate application of the facial mask with a soft brush. My skin is sensitive and it was the lightest, most soothing touch. I recommend Glynis for a truly luxurious facial without the pretension!

Relaxing without feeling like you're in therapy.... Glynis offers spa treatments that feel like you're with a friend, not just some paid by the hour, waterfall CD playing, generic esthitician (sp?). I will definitely be back when my skin screams for some TLC. I've been to AVEDA salons and I was never as satisfied as my trip to the Gypsy Rose Salon.

Treat Yourself. I recently got a facial and a lash tint from Glynis. I had never had my lashes tinted before and was a little nervous about the procedure beforehand, but it went smoothly and I felt totally comfortable at the time. The facial was wonderful and I really didn't want it end. I have very sensitive break-out prone skin, but did not break out at all afterwards. In fact, my skin glowed for the next week or so. Glyinis is personable, fun, and really knows what she is doing. I have complete confidence in her, and just reminded myself that it's time to schedule another appointment.

best facial i have had. I work full time and have 3 children so i wasn't sure i would have time to get in to get a well-deserved facial with Glynis. When i called, she was very accomodating and we found a time that worked well for me quickly. When i arrived, i was immediately at ease in a relaxing and lovely atmosphere. I wasn't sure what to expect from my facial as the last one I received at a salon I won't mention was pretty horrible. Well, Glynis had the best products and a great touch. Excellent massage and technique that made me truly relaxed and enjoying my experience. The products felt incredible, smelled so great, and left my whole face glowing and fresh. I went to lunch with a friend immediately following my facial, eyebrow and lip waxing and was told I looked gorgeous. No raised, red bumpy areas here. I loved the way Glynis did the waxing. I could tell she was taking care to make it as painless as possible and my eyebrows turned out looking better than ever! I will definitely be back! And, I actually can't wait to take advantage of some other services such as having her do my makeup!

Beautiful brows and smooth Legs. I first started coming to Glynis for her waxing services. My eyebrows have never looked better! She has also been waxing my legs for me. I used to not shave them very much but now I'm hooked on how soft and smooth they are after going to Glynis.

She also does amazing Make-up! She has done my make-up for many occasions and I feel so good when I go out that I wish I could take her home and have her do it for me everyday.

Understands Male Skincare. Facials are things that women tend to mostly consider a luxury treatment, so most technicians angle the application and environment to feminine tastes. Glynis does that, but creates a very different tone and setting for her male clients. We (men) tend to neglect our skin, particularly our faces, yet we tend to place ourselves in the most harmful environments which tends to really wear things down and clog us up. Glynis really understands the differences between men and ladies skin needs, and delivers her service in a manner that doesn't make you feel you're receiving a 'feminine' treatment. Go fo the Double Exfoliant!!!

I give her an A+!

Fantastic facials and blissful back treatments.. My skin was haggard and dry until the day I met Glynis. She whipped my bad skin right into shape. I called, spoke with her and made an appointment for the next day. No leaving a message and calling back two days later B.S. I felt relaxed and restored upon leaving the spa. Glynis is very knowledgeable about the skin care products she carries. I now see glynis for monthly facials. That's a beauty regimen i can get into.
