I've been going to Day Medical Salon for the last few years for hair removal, botox and filler. I have always been extremely happy with the results and the price. The staff is always friendly and willing to work with my schedule which is a real plus. My questions have always been answered and Dr. Day is more than willing to spend the extra time needed if I have any concerns. I will continue to get all of my cosmetic needs taken care of with them and I highly recommend them.
I wanted to leave my opinion of Day Medical Salon. I have always had a great experience and have been going there for many years. I have had Thermage, hair removal and Facial Rejuvenation. All have been a positive experience and I look younger because of it. Plus, I have checked out other prices elsewhere and they do have the best prices on pretty much everything. The estheticians there are awesome!
You know, I gave it A LOT of thought
before writing this review as we are business owners as well, and I know how important it is to have HONEST reviews, both for the business AND the customers....with that being said, I have to say on EVERY level I am VERY disappointed with my experiences there.....
Let's begin with Botox. I am thinking this place is severly OVER charging the clients as I agree with the post below- I too was charged for an enormous amount of Botox, more than I have EVER had a doctor say I need, and funny thing is, I too observed the doctor squirting a lot of the medication out! It was done kinda behind me, but I caught it in the corner of my eye....AND where I asked for it to be placed, well it was not even put there! So I was charged $600 in Botox, and I have had it before, so I know how it works...and I am sickened at the very thought of now having to pay another doctor for the same procedure! It was suppose to be between my eyebrows, and it was not. I also had lip injections done, and 3 sryinges placed....and to be honest?? There is absolutley NO difference, EXCEPT I also have a huge nodule on my lip...it looks terrible & I am pretty horrified as I keep biting it and in pics it does look like a tumor of sorts....when I went back about it, the doctor did this crazy making thing and acted as if I never said a word about it!
My honest opinion? I agree with below, this place is looking to make big bucks off each client....they will NOT go that extra mile, even when they are wrong (I too look into my lumpy lips and another doctor whom evaluated it said it was due to bad placement on the doctors part), they don't want to endure ANY of the cost, as a matter of fact you will spend MORE fixing what they have done to you. Also, watch the money count as the cost somehow almost doubled AND I have to even question what they used on me as there literally is NOT difference in my appearance EXCEPT this awful lump....what did I pay for??? I did the consult, I was told 2 syringes would meet my vision...then was told after the 2 were placed, I would need 3...then after the third I was told I need another one in the very least....I am 38 years old....I don't think it is stretching it at all when I say this, after 3 sryinges, too much botox that was not put in the target place, WHY do I not look any better?? I look awful and am now paying someone else to fix these mistakes and remove the lumps....
Take my advice, find another place more worthy of your $$... I am SO let down and $4000 to pay for awful, not ok in my book!
DONT go here. I will NEVER be the same again!! I have "nodules" all over my face & was told it could happen, but it's treatable & they've never seen it happen there, BULLSH*T! They will NOT help me with this AND I found out this happens because of negligence on the doc's part & how the doctor places it!!! I was offered another filler brand & was told BY THE DOC, "There is NO big difference between this & the other offered, just you get more bang for your buck with this brand", so i said ok....now that I have these cancerous looking tumors all over my face? All his wife, or counter lady could say is, "Ohhh uh, I see, you used the cheap stuff instead of the good stuff, that was your choice and that's why you look like this", REALLY? For the first time in my life I could've hit an old lady!!! This is a lie & I was guided into picking the type of filler used! I am heartsick as I spent a lot of time saving hard earned money & trusted them!!! I had NO clue they would pull this! Also, I was quoted a price for a procedure & when the "Doctor" got involved, he TRIPLED the price & he had NO idea I had already been quoted... He was hoping I didn't know any better & would just cough up more cash for him! DISGUSTING PRACTICE. Now I have to save to pay a real doctor to fix what he's done to me!!! If only you could see what I look like now... I am DEVASTATED! Oh, and btw, DON'T take the FaceBook comments as accurate, they offered other customers $50.00 to say something "nice" about them, BRIBES! I am totally disgusted with this dump & I think it's time for Assisted Living for the "doctor" & his wife....Oh, the "counter lady" referred to in the comments below? That's right, it's his wife running the counter...Please, think twice, as had I read these reviews FIRST I might not have paid thousands of dollars to make my face a lumpy mess! He WILL NOT treat this "side effect", don't be fooled. I wish i had gotten this in writing! Oh, AND the "Filler Friday"?? Again, do your home work! They charge $800 a syringe and deduct $100 off if you book on Friday...Well, the going rate for this filler is $600-700 a syringe, so your really not saving a dime! The staff are trying to get rich off every customer that comes through the door. I agree w/ the review below; MORE money was tacked on the pre-planned final quoted price! I was given way too much Botox (& charged) and I felt the doctor squirting it out because it hit ME! AND he didn't even place it where I asked him to!!! Must be too busy thinking about how else to suck money off me...I will NEVER step foot in this place again! The hair removing lady? She's such a doll, i can only hope she'll gain the patient experience and find a classy, honest salon that she can really prosper in! These elderly need to hit the long term care centers, and STOP hurting the public! My next stop? Contacting The Board!!!
not a fan.
Unfriendly front desk woman. She is always rude. They are ONLY interested in making a buck...which is why its obvious they are going under.
Dr. Day seems to be a bit...senile. end of story.
beware!!!!.
I came in for juvederm injection in my smile lines, the Dr. inject too much on one side, made me uneven, then inject ed some more in my cheek which made me even more uneven. ( btw I wasn't aware that he open another syringe). I later came out of the treatment room, 3 syringes later, uneven, upset that the treatment ended up to be a lot more $$ than I expected.
Becareful people.
