Portlands best coffee house!!!. When I first visited Rilassi coffee house I was welcomed and treated like a friend by the girl serving the coffee. It really gave me a good vibe of the place and made me want to come back again. Not to mention the inside of coffee shop has a lot of style and its classy too. The enviroment was friendly and the service and coffee was great. The atmosphere and food is really good too. I work down the street and I recommend them to all my customers who are looking for a place to sit and have coffee while deciding if they want to buy a Mercedes or BMW. Kevin is probably the most down to earth business owner I've met and is quick to shake your hand and welcome you to his store. If you happen to be there on a Saturday morning you might find some very intresting cars parked out front. I highly recomend checking them out.…
If I could give it negative 5 stars I would.
The most HORRIBLE service I have ever had. The staff at Rilassi is more interested in talking to each other about their morning, boyfriends, hair, clothes, doctor appointments, weekends, date
nights, etc than their actual paying customers.
Examples of recent interactions:
-I accidentally spilled my coffee at the creamer station. I asked for a towel and instead of rushing over to help clean it up, they had to find me a towel IN THE BACK and then tossed it on the counter at me.
-Today I had my coffee set on the counter with a scowl because I apparently interrupted her personal conversation.
-I ordered a sandwich and they were out of one of the vegetables. Instead of offering a replacement, they just left it out and still charged full price.
-Finally, (and this is petty, I know) they have a sign up on the wall next to a bottle of hand sanitizer which has a typo in it. I finally pointed out the typo after looking at it for a couple of months and the reply was, "Oh, the owner doesn't care and won't do anything about it." This lack of attention to detail scares me! FYI, the same sign is still up 4 months later.
Today's interaction was the last straw. I will NEVER go back. I would rather make my coffee at home and bring it to work than give them any more of my money. It's too bad because I do like their coffee...…
Enjoy rich European flavors--and gelato--at this authentic Venetian style coffee shop..
In Short
This waterfront coffee shop establishes a feeling of grandeur with Renaissance-era wall murals, a ceiling fresco and a spiraling staircase that leads upstairs to an open mezzanine
seating area. Downstairs, an old world fountain splits two additional seating areas:dbch a plush, fireside lounge and the scattering of tables and chairs that surround the counter. Here, a staff of expertly trained baristas handcrafts all manner of espresso drinks and serves waterfront condo dwellers a selection of pastries, soups, salads, traditional Panini sandwiches, and jewel-toned gelato that only extends this shops authentic Italian feel.…
