Portland >Crossroads Trading Co Inc
Well organized and discerning about what they stock, this used clothing shop (and its Northwest Portland sister store) stocks lots of top brands like Frye and Jeffrey Campbell and buys with the latest trends in mind. They buy clothes and will work on consignment with you too.
This well-organized Hawthorne shop has stylish shoes and apparel for both men and women. Check out the section of new merchandise to see what’s hot now, and what will be the next hip thing in 2013. The prices are manageable and the threads are nearly brand new.
Crossroads is giving Buff Exchange a run for their money. Don't be fooled by the more Midwestern Plato's Closet-style setup, Crossroads has rack upon rack of quality, hip used clothing. In the back toward the dressing room lies a few special racks of brand new items and staff picks. And the staff picks well.
Thank You!!. Thank you Bri!! Went in today to sell my Uggs. She found over 500$ in the toe of the boot. I must say that there is honesty in the world today. All of our missing emergency money was there. She and the two other girls who were working informed me of what they found and were happy they had checked. They also solved the mystery of where it had gone. Too long of a story. This store is great! The people are very friendly and nice. They are easy to work with. No appointment necessary. I just walk in and drop off. They do the rest. Depending on the time frame you can shop, run errands, or come back the next day if you just need to run in and out. They are always nice, explain why they can't take something, and how much they are going to sell your item for. You can either trade for more $ or get $ on the spot. They are clean and have great finds! Worth a trip for sure. I always see people while I am looking saying, "Look at this to their friends while taking a turn, do you think I should get it?" I'm thinking are you kidding it looks great, wish I found it. Have fun and Thank you!! I will be back again and again.
Amazing and friendly.
I don't know why the last person had such a bad experience, it sounds a little personal but this place is great.
Marc Jacobs, Juicy, Frye, True Religions just to name some of the designer merchandise I saw.
I noticed friendly staff and thought the prices were great.
She was right about one thing, it is not the same as the other stores on the street--no dirty vintage, cooler than thou attitude or stained items here!
Lame!. I can't believe this place stays in business! With 2 other great used clothing stores within a couple blocks, this one manages to stay alive selling unpopular and overpriced clothing. The store is understaffed and the employees provide the same level of customer service a group of retarded monkeys would. Even the manager acts like a spoiled teenage employee from Lloyd Center Mall. I would recommend frequenting Buffalo Exchange or Red Light for used clothing on Hawthorne.
