Hair Stylist Par Excellence!. You know how some of the best food can be found in the most unassuming places? Well, the same is true of other services, like getting your hair styled. Ward Stroud is one of those places that offers quality service in a comfortable atmosphere. Janelle knew exactly what I wanted after a few minutes of conversation--and she executed the cut perfectly! Thank you Melissa!!!. Its been about 6 years since I've had a stylist that can understand my needs. Melissa was intuitive, professional and creative! Gave me a cut, color and style to die for! Affordable prices and a super fun atmosphere. Feels more like chillin with friends then a day at the salon I'm so relieved that I have finally found my stylist! Thank you Melissa! you are Fantastic! :D

Veronica is Awesome!. I moved to the Portland area last year and immediately got engaged and planned a fast wedding. I needed to find a great stylist for my hair and was lucky enough to find Veronica. She did an amazing job - just what I had asked for. A very natural look with blond highlights. I was very happy and received many nice compliments including one for the girl who did my updo for the wedding. Since then, I have seen Veronica several times. She helped me to come up with new cuts and style techniques as well as gave me confidence to try new styles. At my last visit I decided to make a dramatic change and go for red and black punk rock look. It was a process to make the change but Verionica made it enjoyable and the end result was well worth it. I have receive more compliments on this style than ever and am very happy with the outcome. I will continue to visit Veronica for several resons. She listens to what you want and makes great suggestions, the environment at Ward Stroud is comfortable and plesant, and Veronica charges very resonable rates for her services.

Janelle is the Best. Janelle Winter is the only person to trust with your hair, epically if you have no idea how to give your stylist direction. I know nothing about fashion; Janelle knows this, so I just sit down in her chair and let her cut. When she is done, I walk out of her door looking great. Whether you know exactly what you want or have no clue, Janelle will do a great job and provide friendly service. Go to her once and you will never trust another with your hair.

Amazing Salon. Ward's is amazing. The staff is so friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family. My daughter goes there every Saturday to get a new feather or bling in her hair, and is always treated like a star.

Not only are they wonderful people, but they are fabulous artists as well. I have never had a bad cut from Ward's, and I recommend them to everybody who asks where to get there hair done.

Veronica Greene of Ward Stroud. I highly recommend Veronica Greene - she is an excellent stylist and gave me exactly the haircut I was looking for. Very friendly and wonderful service. She is an artist and really knows what she's doing. I drove 70 miles and it was worth every mile. I'll be back for sure.

janelle rocks!. After a bad haircut many years ago, I have avoided hairdressers completely and cut my own hair. Sometimes it was ok, sometimes it was bad. I was growing my hair out and knew I needed some help going from weird bowl cut to cute bob. I went to Janelle on a friend's recommendation and have been so happy with my hair! Most of all she really listens to what I want, it's scary getting your hair cut when you are trying to grow it out because a little cut can make a big difference. And if it isn't exactly what I wanted, I'll walk in and she will tweak it or trim my bangs for free! Janelle cured me of my haircut phobia and now I have hair I actually like again. Ward Stroud is a nice relaxed salon atmosphere too, everyone is friendly and seems happy to be there. five stars!

Melissa Polley of Ward Stroud. I found Melissa at Ward Stroud by chance looking for hair feathers for my daughters and ended up not only getting beautiful hair feathers but amazing free hair advice. She took time to talk technique and recomend products with out pushing me to purchase anything. In fact she told me to try her tips before deciding to cut my hair. This sealed it & I decided I'd go to her & give her a try for my cut. I was thrilled with the results. I got an amazing hair cut (I've recieved so many compliments). My daughters were very impressed and (are very picky, as well as loyal to their old hair stylest) decided they wanted to have Melissa cut their hair as well. Stunning and flattering cuts were the results. They too have recieved many compliments. Also her prices are competitive, which I deeply appreciate. We will be returning many many times. We highly recommend her for any one wanting a change, or looking for someone new.

Best hair experience, ever.. Ward has been doing my hair, both cut and color, for about three months now, and I plan on knowing him for a very very long time! I am always pleased, even surprised, with the results of my highlights and his handiwork with the triple shears is marvelous.

Most importantly, he listens to what I want and knows exactly how to make it happen. He is down-to-earth, fun-loving, and genuine, which makes the salon experience a true pleasure. Ward is a true artist, true soul, and though I see him only once a month, or so, I would call him a friend...a beautiful rapport he just seems to carry around.

Thanks Ward! You make me feel and look like a million bucks!
