Grendel's offers a low-key cafe atmosphere and a public computer with internet access--a modern rarity. And their sandwiches aren't half bad.

What I like is that they have a range of menu options and you can work in there on your computer no problem. I don't like when you get a bagel,they give you cream cheese packets so you have to spread cold cream cheese on an already cooling bagel. I hate when places won't do that, but then will make you a sandwich 10 stories high. Well, I go back anyhow. I like the atmosphere and always meet nice people there.
