Randee is a Great Stylist!. When I moved to Portland 4 years ago, I had a series of nightmare hair cutting experiences. I have very fine (lifeless) hair with a few waves. I first found Randee at another salon in late 2007. She repaired the damage from the bad stylists and gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. In 2008, I moved to Beaverton and stupidly thought I could replace her with someone closer. WRONG. Soon I was happily commuting to NE Portland to see Randee for what is still the best haircut.

A honest hair stylist!! I loved it.. I have naturally curly hair and after some City Search research I picked Studio Thirty. Their specialty is curly hair. I had already been to a few who thought their specialty was curly hair and trust me, it wasn't. When I walked into Studio Thirty I was greeted warmly and immediately by Kristenlee. Being as I had made my appointment with her, there wasn't a wait. I was doing the full deal, including consultation time. We immediately sat down and started to discuss my very overprocessed, over dried dead curl hair and all of the grey showing on top. My hair had been so badly abused that I had lost a lot of the natural curl and I really wanted it back.

At first Kristenlee and I butted heads. I was used to having a stylist who did what I asked with out question. Kristenlee is not that way and at first I didn't like what I was hearing. I then realized that this is her specialty, what she does with my hair is her signature, her trademark and for me to have the ability to brag about how it turned out. I admired the fact that she was straight forward and honest about what I thought I wanted and what she would only do. My hair needed major corrective color. So I sat back and allowed her to work her magic. And worked her magic, SHE DID! I ended up with the color I wanted, the cut was perfect and my hair was healthier, softer.

I have followed her hair care directions very closely and it's been almost 6 weeks and my hair has regained a lot of it's natural curl back. I air dry it everyday and I have no frizzies! I cannot remember the last time I could do this.

I have another appointment with Kristenlee and am looking forward to going.

If you are looking for an intimate, personal hair salon, one that takes the time to get to know you and your interest, this is the salon for you!

Sadie Rules!!. I have been to many salons over the past two years. I was concentrating on the pearl district, thinking that's where all the top stylists would be. Although I was always satisfied more or less, I was never blown away....until now. Sadie gave me the best haircut on the planet!!! I have extra long hair with heavy waves in it , alot of stylists have trouble with it. She TRANSFORMED my hair. I didn't even know my hair could be this fun. Her color placement (2 colors) set off the cut stunningly. All my coworkers and friends freaked out. Thanks Sadie......see you on my next visit!!!!!!!!!

Nobody touches my hair but Kristenlee!. I showed up at Kristenlee's door two years ago with hair that was overdyed, dry, and worst of all--I'd had the same basic style going on for years.

My first cut from her was brilliant, and I have loved my hair ever since. Each cut since we have switched things up, and I am continually amazed at how Kristenlee makes hair art look so easy. Bold changes aren't scary because her cuts fit both your face and your lifestyle. Seriously, it's incredible--my hair looks as amazing four weeks growing out of a cut as it does on day one. I've actually learned to appreciate and work with the natural texture of my hair instead of constantly battling with irons, and it's all because of killer cuts.

Add to her genius, instinctive skills the fact that Kristenlee is kind, fun and genuinely interested in what her clients want. It's easy to see why people who move away from Portland specifically come back to see her for their hair needs. Nobody else is going to touch my hair!

Love my hair!. I have been going to Sadie for years and she just moved here, of course she did an amazing job on my hair like she always does but her new salon made it even better! Studio Thirty is such a great space and I love this neighborhood!

Wonderful experience at a great salon. I have been living in Portland for almost one year, and I haven't been able to find a great stylist until I met Kristenlee. I had an appointment with her yesterday and everything went just wonderful. The ambiance is chic and relaxing, Kristenlee is all ears to the client's desires for the hairstyle and color, and she will ask tons of questions to make sure she understands exactly what the client wants. Kristenlee with her creativity and strong attention to detail, the product line, online booking, the good parking make this salon a 5 star experience.

A bad Hair Day? Studio Thirty Can Fix It. As a small businees owner myself, I really appreciate the genuine attention to detail and sense of community demostrated by Kristen Lee. Her comitment to quality of services and her surroundings. I've been getting hair cuts for as long as I can remember......well she is great!

Fantastic Salon!!. Kristenlee is a great stylist. She really takes time to get to know her clients and works with them to create great hair. She has really helped me learn how to care for my hair. My appointments are never 'cut/color by numbers'. Kristenlee always checks in to see what's working, and what to change. Kristenlee, @ Studio Thirty, is a wonderful and caring stylist.

My favorite stylist at a new location.. Studio Thirty is a lovely, cheery salon in a great location. Miss Kristie has been my stylist for several years and I gladly followed her to this new salon. Same great stylist, same great products (The DevaCurl line), all in a friendly and inviting new environment.
