As an employee, I can confidently say, that Angelic Healing Hands offers the employees one of, if not THE best, working environments in Portland. Rod Dudley is supportive and kind, enthusiastic, and willing to mentor his experience from being in the industry The treatment rooms are beautiful! At Angelic Healing Hands you find a relaxing, healing space without the over commercialized feel which is all too common these days. I am so excited and grateful, to be a part of this team. <3 . I also agree with DrewM436 and KCB599..
I also agree with DrewM436 and KCB599. The negative reviews must be coming from a disgruntled ex-employee or some competitor. I've been
going to Angelic Healing Hands for 5 years and I've never had a bad experience. I've seen a variety of therapists (whoever happens to be available on the day I'm dying for a massage) and have tried all three locations (downtown, Murray, and SAC). Everyone is very professional, courteous, and clearly well trained.
My mother was a massage therapist (now retired) who also owned a bookstore at a school in Arizona that offered AA degrees in healing arts. I used to spend a lot of time there being the "guinea pig" in some of the classes when teachers needed to demonstrate massage techniques to students as well as when students needed a body to practice on to earn their hours and/or get feedback on their techniques. So believe me when I say I know a good professional massage when I get one. All the people that I have met with and received massages from at Angelic Healings Hands have met my high standards and the prices have always been very reasonable given the high quality of the service.
And to top off the praise, I've sent many of my girlfriends to Angelic Healing Hands over the years and all of them have had positive experiences every time they have gone.

I have not spent time with Rod Dudley,
the owner, in the last couple of years. THAT being said, I met him over a decade ago, when he was
just getting going. I know from watching behind the scenes as he built his business from himself to several locations with many employees, and as a customer, what kind of business person Rod is. He has always done things the right way, and he has always been concerned about the value of services to the patient in addition to patient comfort and professionalism.
Based on these things, I highly doubt the rash of extremely negative ratings. I suspect a disgruntled employee or competition who did not make the grade. I would like to point out that these ratings all have the exact same tone. While using different words, the verbiage is over the top, and the words chosen often a little too creative.... Sounds like someone with a vendetta. Let me tell you, Rod can keep his cool and politeness together despite situations that would cause others to lose it. He is a professional, and he has put his heart and life into Angelic Healing Hands.
Further, please note that nearly every one of these reviews uses the word 'masseuse'. A 'masseuse' is a person who does body work with lewd intentions. Rod is an LMT, as are his employees. That stands for Licensed Massage Therapist. These folks are professionals, trained in the healing arts.
I highly recommend Rod and any of his locations. I have always had professional, courteous, and competent care. I encourage you to treat yourself to the atmosphere, the care, and the healing hands on experience that Rod and his employees have to offer. You deserve it.

The owner Rod Dudley is something else
-- I paid by phone for a massage based on his "holiday discount" but when I showed up he said the
massage could not begin until I paid regular price since he had no record of the email with the discount offer. Since I had an iPhone, I showed him a copy and thought that this would speed things up. He said he needed to make sure the email was for the correct location and we were delayed by 20 minutes.
What is astounding is that I had booked the massage a week in advance and confirmed a day before, and I told Rod about the discount.
Either he wanted to cheat me of my money or delay my massage -- this man is dishonest whichever way you look at it no matter how many fake reviews he posts singing his own praises.
