Artisan pizza chain delivers big, seasonally driven flavors.. At the base of the Civic Condominiums, this light-filled outpost of the Hot Lips’ pizza chain provides all the requisite pizza parlor draws: there’s standard cheese and pepperoni pies, fountain sodas, and beer served by the glass, bottle and growler. But the laid-back staff also brings an independent, artisan mindset to the pizza scene that goes beyond such standard fare. Condo dwellers from above and sports fans fresh from a game at adjacent PGE Park frequent this minimalist, cement-floored dining room to nosh on seasonal pies like a summer squash and feta combo, vegan slices and scratch-baked treats like peanut butter oatmeal monster cookies.
