Andy is adorable :). I have only been to the shop once or twice, but I knew Blackbird was the wine shop of choice for me after one simple phone call. I was trying to find a specific type of wine, and the other local wine shops just said, "Sorry, don't have it." Andy also didn't carry the exact wine I was looking for, but was so enthusiastic and helpful that I had to go visit him. My husband went with me and was also an immediate fan. If you want someone who knows his wine cold, gets you excited about wine and is just a cool guy, go to Blackbird Wine Shop. No pretentiousness, no bs snobbery, great info.
