"No Longer A Secret!".
I found Norma's Kitchen while looking for a way to get back to the overpass on Hiway 99. Located across from the Safeway parking lot - there it is; a cute little building, very inviting - makes you want to go inside. What a treat for your eyes and delightful aromas coming from Norma's pots and pans. Makes you want to sit down and eat something! We went for dinner on Friday and the Fried Chicken & Catfish Special was out of this world! Greens and corn bread (like mama used to make!). Tablemates were eating the BBQ ribs. They said they were delicious and very tender. Norma and husband Bruce have it "going on!" Got to have some more of that Sweet Tea when I return. Unfortunately all the banana & vanilla wafer pudding was sold out so I missed dessert (this time). This must be one of Portland's best kept secrets! Go and check it out!
