The best place for massage. I was involved in a car crash a little while ago and my doctor has tried to send me to different massage places in town but none of them seem to get to the route of my problem, that is until I met David at AMC. David is a very skilled therapist. During my first appointment, he took about 20 minutes to fully discuss my situation and to evaluate the extent of my pain and problems (I was impressed just by the time that he took). Of course I wanted my treatment to be quick but I ended up having to go there for about a 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks I was feeling a lot better. David was a very nice gentleman. He was professional and was always there for my questions - even on the weekends. If I ever have to see a massage therapist again, I will go directly to Advanced Massage Concepts.

The Best Massage I Have Ever Experienced. I have had a chronic problem with muscle stiffness in my neck and shoulders. Before visiting Advanced Massage Concepts, I had been treated by five other massage therapists. All of their efforts were to no avail.

A friend who had similar chronic muscle problems referred me to Carol Ann at Advance Massage concepts. This was the best advice I have received, from a friend.

Carol Ann quickly recognized the source of my problem and set out a planned course of treatment that worked!! She is a caring and concerned person who treats her patients in a very professional but at the same time a very human way. She is concerned and it shows. She is not a clock watched and prefers to solve the problem and keep you advised of what she will be doing.

In addition to visiting her for the chronic problem with my neck and shoulders, I have also seen her for a “relaxing” massage. She devotes the same attention to this type of massage as she does to the type designed to fix my neck.

If you get the impression that I can’t say enough good things about her and Advanced Massage Concepts, you are right. She is the right person, practicing the right healing art and she does so with an outstanding concern for the patient. I would recommend her to anyone and do so regularly. I have sent members of my immediate family, to her and they returned with rave reviews.

Better than any I've had before. I have long standing history of shoulder and neck problems. Specifically I have cervical spine and nerve issues steming from an old injury and posture issues. I've been treated by a therapist there named David. I've seen two other massage therapists in the past as well (different clinics.) In general, massage helps, but David has big, powerful hands and a seemingly psychic ability to find the sources of my pain and know the threshold of my tolerance for pressure. The relief I get from his treatment is notably greater and longer lasting than previous sessions with other therapists. I also have a greater understanding of my issues - I feel I can ask any question. And ask it again - maybe again. I highly recommend this clinic.

Great Therapy Massage. A few months ago I hurt myself at work. So I went to the doctor and they tried to help fix my arm pain and it helped but didn't solve the problem. So I went to a physical therapist and they referred me to AMC. Carol was great. I saw her for several weeks and the pain went down considerably. She even taught me some home/self exercises that I can do to help relieve the pain. Carol is WONDERFUL and I would highly suggest this place for anyone who has muscle problems or pain.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!. Ok, so I saw the comment made by bmaker. However, I heard some good things about this place...so I scheduled my appt. with David. He was EXCELLENT!! He listened to me and we worked on getting my arm back in working order. Carol Ann, another massage therapist there saw me the second time and she was VERY good as well.

They seem to be trained very well and even gave me a few exercises I can do at home. The best part (for me anyways) was that they take appointments during the evenings on the week days and on the weekends. That is a HUGE plus since I work a 9-5 job. Plus, they were right on the bus line so I took the bus instead of driving.

Well, these guys (David and Carol Ann) were great. I can't speak for anyone else but I would most definately go back again.

P.S. I don't think Brandi works there any longer.

Terrible Experience. I scheduled the appointment with Carol. Brandi, not Carol was waiting for me and told me Carol was unavailable. She was rude from the first utterance. I was sore and in pain, and had driven across town, otherwise I would have rescheduled.

During the massage she dug her forearm and elbow with her considerable weight (not to be derogatory but a rough guess would be 300 plus pounds) into my ribs and worked her way up and down them. I let her know it was painful, to which she responded I may have had a rib out. I deferred to her expertise, thinking it may feel better later. I was wrong. For over a month I had rib and back pain due to her psuedo-wrestling moves.

When I called and talked to Carol, she told me Brandi had other complaints made against her, did not use the appropriate technique on my ribs, did not know how to use the hydraulic massage table, and would not be employed there much longer. That was around March. She's still there. Avoid this place.
