Pearl District health nuts line up for fresh, organic fare.. The Pearl District location of this quick-service restaurant looks a bit like a Taco Del Mar on steroids with its high ceilings, pale blue accent walls and massive open kitchen that splits the casual, brick-walled eating area in two. In warmer weather, picnic tables on the restaurant’s small concrete patio fill quickly with tofu-munching families and lithe condo dwellers who come for bean-filled burritos, vegan veggie and tempeh bowls and fruit smoothies. That isn’t to say there’s not an indulgent item or two; for dessert, there’s cookies and for an adult beverage, beer.
