After recently being accused of being a java connoisseur and somewhat of a Renaissance Man, I embarked on a quest for the finest coffee in
all of Oregon. The journey drew me all over this glorious land... a true man on a mission.
My travels took me to The Beanery in Ashland, Kaffe 101 in Coos Bay, The Sweet Life in Eugene, Bend's Bellatazza, and through the drive-up at Salem's Bikini Coffee. Although these are all worthy establishments, there clearly is a coffee experience on MLK Blvd in Portland which sets itself ahead of the pack!
The aura, the essence, and the epitome of Coffee Nirvana clearly is found at Caffe Brioso. The flavorfully roasted beans, organic teas, and solid breakfast and lunch menus makes your effort to reach this goal, well rewarded.
The top recommendations on my list are the Sexi-Mexi Mocha and a Sexi-Dragonfly Chai . When the barista asks you if you want whipped cream, your standard reply should be…
“Of course, that’s what makes them sexy!”

It IS the "BEST Mocha EVER" Try it!!!. Wonderful, wonderful coffee, and the most friendly hostess ever. Great sandwiches and pastry, too. Don't miss this great little place.
