Thank you Icon Salon and Eric Nelson! I relocated to Portland recently from NYC. I was referred to Eric Nelson at Icon from a co-worker. Eric spent a gracious amount of time ensuring we were on the same page for my new look. Parking is free. Salon uses Oribe (also sold at Neiman Marcus) and Sidlab products. Pricing was about half of what I am used to paying in NYC. Very low key

I LOVE this Salon! Christy and Taylor are the Best! So very nice and accomodating. My cut and color are always right on! Plus, I get compliments all the time from my Bunco girls!

Sarah Stevens at Icon Salon has been doing my hair for almost 6 years. She is a wonderful and skilled stylist! I am extremely particular about my hair, but I never worry that I will walk out of the salon unhappy with Sarah coloring and cutting my hair. She definitely has a way with making my highlights pop and keeping them fresh! Sarah always knows the latest trends and uses the most up to date techniques. She truly knows hair! I don't think I would trust taking my hair anywhere else!

The salon itself is a nice space. The owners are so friendly and always say hello to me when I'm in. It is a great NW salon without the pretentious feel!

Absolutely great color and cut!. I have been going to the same hairstylist for 15 years, until this past Thursday when I had a nightmare of an experience. Thanks to other reviewers, I found Icon Salon & Spa and decided to give it a try. Taylor got me in the next day for a color correction (the EXACT look I wanted originally) and a beautiful cut (again, the EXACT look) and she had known me all of about 5 minutes. I agree with other reviewers, the sink washing stations are actually really comfortable. The location is great, who doesn't love NW Portland? With reserved, in-front-of-the-salon parking, it is easily accessible. The price was fair as well. I will be going back and recommending everyone I know!

Great Salon, People and Location!!!!. You know how hard it is to find someone you can trust that get's you and YOUR HAIR?

Well look no further!!!!

Go see Christy and Taylor at the beautiful Icon Salon. You will not be disappointed. I have been going to Christy for 7 years and she continues to give me the best color in town. She is not afraid to experIment and has kept my look fresh and different. They care about their clients and I would never go anywhere else.

The Icon is the best!!!

Best Salon in PDX. This is such a warm, comfortable place to be. Great art on the wall, soft music, relaxing colors and big windows for natural light. The hair washing sinks are super comfortable. Deborah Grams has been cutting my hair for several years now and I love her expertise and sense of style. She's the best!

Plus the location is fantastic - St Cupcake is just around the corner, World Coffee is half a block up Glisan and Sweet Basil Thai is across the street. I could spend a whole day right here! AND there is off-street parking right in front. What's not to love?

Great Salon, wonderful and skilled owners!. I have never written a review before, so this Salon must be something for me to go through the process of actually setting myself up to be able to make the review.

I have followed Christy around for several years. This is the third location, and most likely the last one since it is such an awesome location for her and Taylor. Oh did I mention I use Taylor as well? But yes, I go back and forth and use both of these fine ladies! They are the BEST!

And the salon is so nice. I think they have put all their dreams into making a place for people to go and feel "special" while being made beautiful.

I live in far SE, so for me to drive from Gresham, passing other salons that might be closer and more convenient is in itself a testimony to their skills and customer service.

Angie is awesome. I have been going to Angie to get my hair done for over 10 years. The most important thing is that you love your hair, which I do, but so do many others. I have been told numerous times how healthy, shiny and "luxurious" my hair is by women of all ages, and this is all due to Angie's abilities.

Three years ago I needed to repair damage I had done by over treating and lifting my natural close to black color and even with chin length hair I still got compliments on the cut and style that Angie provided me.

I claim my hair to be my greatest physical attribute but I can't say that without first giving props to my long time hairsylist Angie.

Oh, and she gives a mean pedicure too.
