Friend & great stylist. I have had the pleasure of working right along side Julie when we worked in the same salon for several years. Being a hair stylist myself I am picky and know what I like.

When we worked together at times I would look over at what she was doing and I would say to myself, wow, that is an awesome cut. It is like Julie gets in her zone and goes into the creation of the cut.

Since the salon closed we worked at we have gone our separate ways as far as work is concerned but we remain friends and she remains my stylist.

I love the place she has set up at her home and it is private and very comfortable. Easy parking and her entrance goes right into her salon space. So you really do not go into her home.

Julie is a pro and loves a challenge. I think Julie shines in the unusual and funky but she also shines in the usual and professional looks.

If you are looking for a stylist in the SW area give her a try. Julie is a great person and a fabulous stylist.

What a Great Haircut. I was first referred to Julie by a friend, when I just got fed up with my stylist. And, what a great referral it turned out to be. I have been going to Julie for "some time" and I receive lots of inquires from people asking..."where did you get that great haircut." Julie is a doll; a true professional. I love going to her and I love receiving the great comments from others about the superb haircut that she gave me. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great haircut; she's just "that good."

Repeat customer. I ended up with Julie at the now closed Montgomery Place by accident. Because I liked the useful tips Julie gave me to improve my hair and appearance, none of which involved much extra cost or products, I kept requesting her. Whenever I see myself in a video, which is quite often, I am very pleased with my hair. I get the impression she is quite talented with all types of hair and can adapt to the situation. When she moved a little farther down the road, I checked out salons in Hillsdale and Multnomah and they all cost more, so I decided being with someone nice who I already knew and who did a great job was worth the extra mile. Even though it's in her home, Julie's Love of Hair is set up like a salon and is very relaxing. Julie is professional and fun to be with too. She's someone I can count on.

New customer. A friend referred me to Julie after I indicated to her my frustration with finding a stylist I could stick with over time.

I had been training for Cycle Oregon and needed a style that would be compatible with a bike helmet, camping for a week, and no access to a hair dryer. Julie listened, looked at the natural waves in my hair, and recommended a style that fit my needs perfectly.

After my bike trip I wanted to make a slight change in the style and she offered suggestions and did a great job accommodating my needs.

The location is convenient and the atmosphere is personal, relaxing, and professional. Julie's a great person as well as a excellent stylist.

Stylist and Friend. My husband and I have used Julie's services since 1989. She is an absolute artist when it comes to hair coloring and cutting . I have referred many friends to Julie over the years, and they are always pleased with her work and have remained her clients. She keeps up with current trends so I was very confident to refer my college age friend to her. Besides hair services, I have had Julie do facial waxing, manicures, pedicures, and make-up for a recent wedding. I have always been very happy with the results. Not only is Julie my hair stylist, but a friend.
