Long Time Favorite Sushi Chef Kuni. Kuni is my favorite Sushi Chef along with his family which operate the restaurant. Highest quality for taste and freshness. Ask for his Avacado Boat as an appetizer(family secret recipe); a treat you probably will not share with your significant other....it's that good!!

One of his first restaurants was Ichidai on Powell at 57th which is also very good.

Kuni is the perfect definition of Sushi Chef; very expert and friendly! You will return many times!!

Great Sukiyaki!. Shiki is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Portland. The food, the prices and the service are all excellent. My favorite dish there is sukiyaki, although I love everything on the menu. The location is easy (right off of I-205 on Foster Rd) and there's plenty of free parking. I highly recommend it!

Best Sushi in Portland!. This is the best sushi in Portland! This new sushi restaurant is owned and operated by a well know sushi chef in Portland. We've been eating his sushi for years! They've owned several other Japanese restaurants in the Portland area. Great sushi menu including some signature rolls that we tried; 105 roll, and Salmon explosion were great! They have a pretty significant kitchen menu as well that served a great spicy calamari which was delicious! We even tried a Sakitini which was new to us! We had the Emperor which was very refreshing and tasted great with our sushi! Overall, I think this place has top notch sushi! Great Atmosphere, great staff, and wonderful food!
