We recently had our company holiday party here and I can't obsess enough about how great the food is! The salmon was perfect and the fried chicken was out of this world. The staff are also really great :)

BEST BLOODY MARY IN TOWN! Freshness is the key ingredient in their glasses packed with lemon juice, just-grated horseradish (never from a jar), and plenty of surplus citrus slices.

Meaty dishes, tasty cocktails and spiked coffees. Love the atmosphere here, old books line the shelves, recycled fixtures create light and art. The staff is always friendly.

Irving Street Kitchen-A Dining Dream Come True. Food should not be this delicious. I want to order a bit of everything on the menu and each time I have been at Irving Street Kitchen in the Pearl District I try something new and have never been disappointed. This chef really knows what he/she is doing. The flavors, seasonings, sauces are perfectly balanced. The selection is excellent but in case you are not finding what you are in the mood for, one of your fabulously wonderful, friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, attentive servers, will offer to have something unique prepared for you ~ food or beverage. The atmosphere is casual and elegant at the same time – a great mixture of design, music, seating arrangements and décor. All of the servers have an upbeat attitude and make you feel as though you are the only guest. For special occasions, parties, any kind of event, there is a separate dining room that can be transformed into any theme you choose. That goes for the party menu as well. Event Manager, Annie Cooper, gets to know her clients (who become friends for life) as she goes about customizing the room, decorations, theme and perfect finishing touches to your unique event. Your first personalized party at Irving Street Kitchen in Portland will not be your last. I recently had the luxury of Mother’s Day brunch and the food and service exceeded my expectations. Our server, Andrea, could not have been more upbeat or dedicated to making our meal a truly extraordinary experience. Go with a friend. Go with 30. You will be writing the next great review.

Outstanding Service and Menu. We were looking forward to trying the Irving Street Bistro as none of family and friends had tried it. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We sat at the bar and were amazed by the orchestration of chefs and wait staff. Like a well oiled machine. The menu selections were affordable, presented will and very delicious. Lots of great energy, neat music..will go again and often!

Irving Street Kitchen. Seasonal slow cooking. American with a soulful Southern touch. All words that have been used to describe the affordable rustic-chic dishes, handmade charcuterie, and classic cocktails that fill the menu at this Pearl District eatery. Comfort foods like fried chicken with smashed potatoes and collards or BBQ shrimp with chive drop biscuits join more eccentric entrees of roasted baby lamb w/spaetzle and favas. A unique barrel-to-bar system offers wine tapped directly from the barrel, which cuts environmental and packaging costs. Roll up garage doors reveal a modern space painted with warm wood, gleaming steel and rustic farmhouse elements. Weekday BBQs lunches are cooked on the loading-dock patio, where diners also enjoy year-round outdoor seating.
