If you're looking for a stylist who really knows her stuff, check out Fawn at Salon Chi in Sellwood. I found Fawn through Portland City Search a few years ago, and I am so glad I did. She is an amazing colorist--my hair color always looks perfectly natural and never brassy. I love that she understands how hair moves and incorporates that into a cut. My sister from soCal always makes a point of seeing her whenever she's in town because she can't find anyone down south who do a precision cut as well as Fawn. (Fawn studied with Vidal Sassoon and Tony & Guy, so she's a bit of a perfectionist.) Her shop is small, but has a lot of personality--just like her!

Fawn at Salon Chi is great. She is very detailed, and always does a great job.

She cuts and styles my hair, and does it very well considering I have difficult to manage hair.

She also cuts my wife's hair, and does her eyebrow waxing. She does it perfectly every time.

I recently started bringing my son for haircuts and we have been very impressed. He previously went to places like Bishops, the Barbers or Supercut and we were always dissappointed by the lack of consistency.

We now get great haircuts for the whole family, and it is well worth the time and money!

I highly recommend Salon Chi.

Shelby is behind the chair doing hair again!!!. It has been 6 years but he is back. My color, my cut is looking great again! I love the feel of Salon Chi and Shelby is the best. Parking up front was sure nice.

Fresh Space, Relaxed Feel. The new owner has remodeled and freshened the whole space. It has such a nice feel now. Not too big and not too small. It is comfortable, but you still know that the stylists know the trends and can give you edgy, refined, or traditional. This salon is NOT intimidating. I really appreciate the relaxed feel.

Get a great cut every time!. Seriously. Everyone is great here! They actually take the time to finish every haircut down to the last detail. And they are careful to help you - so you know how to fix it yourself later!
