45.514995 -122.973343Avoid this place at all cost. I took my car in for an oil change and the usual manager (Wayman) was not there. It took them 2 hours and during the process they ran out of oil, drained my battery, got my keys stuck in the ignition, nearly sent me out 2 quarts low, left brake dust all over my steering wheel, shifter, and keys, and it looked like they scraped the grease off their shoes on my door trim. I emailed the owner and he apologized and offered to have it cleaned up, then passed me off to his regional manager. The regional manager emailed me a few times and then went silent. It's now 3 weeks later and I finally had to just pay out of pocket to have the mess cleaned up. I'm filing complaints with the Oregon Attorney General and BBB right now.
Horrible Customer Service.
If I could give a zero star review, I would. One star is being generous.
I went to the new Brake Team location yesterday to get an estimate to repair my front brakes. I had previously used the TV Hwy location and had a great experience, so I figured I'd try out the new location since it's right by my house. Bad idea. The guy at the counter was so rude it absolutely blew my mind. He spent the entire time giving my girlfriend nasty looks and was incredibly obnoxious to me. I'm sorry, but this is Portland, Oregon. Have you never seen a lesbian before? I asked for an estimate and his response was "Um, I'd need to actually SEE the car." Well yeah, that's why I'm standing here with my keys in my hand, ready to hand them over to you! Should I have driven my car into the lobby? After a couple more minutes of that same sort of crap, I finally gave up and left.
You'd think that with a new location, they would be going out of their way to provide excellent customer service to build their client base. Guess not. Needless to say, I will be going to Les Schwab instead.
