Good spot for a beer with friends or a casual weeknight date--get the Fressen pretzel, roasted carrots with wheat berries, grilled trout (or the very affordable two-fer), and do NOT pass on the butterscotch pudding with hazelnut brittle and chocolate crumb, at $5, it's one of the city's best dessert bangs for your buck.

A stunning natural edged maple bar centers this space. A chalkboard boasts the many local beers available while the spirits lie in wait on the bar's center island. The seafood chowder was one of the best I'd ever eaten, it was a special so I can't promise it will be there for you. The pub pretzel and spicy mustard complimented my pear cider.
