Great drinks & great munchies. My husband & I spent about an hour here last Thursday afternoon. We sat at the bar playing Trivial Pursuit, having some wine/beer and enjoying some finger food. Our bartender, Kelly, was very personable, attentive and fun. Loved the vibe of this place and will be back.

great neighborhood atmosphere.
Despite its location in the sort of no-mans-land of the former Burnside/Sandy split area, the Guild has the friendly, cozy atmosphere of one of the better neighborhood pubs (but they lack a sketchy restroom...alas, it is clean and well-lit). They pour some good brews (Willamette Dammit is fast becoming a favorite), and were creative in responding to requests for special concoctions from their still-growing bar. The bar mistresses were pleasant and prompt.
We stayed late enough for late happy hour, and snacked down on good sandwiches before heading out for the night. My tab was ridiculously cheap, and I left happy, definitely to return.

The Guild: Great Beers at Great Prices Equals Great Pub.
You need to get down the 11th and East Burnside and check out the recently opened pub - The Guild Public House. The pub has a great selection of hard-to-find Pacific NW microbrews on tap from such outstanding brewers as Oakshire (Eugene), Burnside and Natian (from right down the street), Ninkasi (Eugene), Everyman Brewing (White Salmon, WA) and Walking Man Brewery (Stevenson, WA).
The prices are dirt cheap with draft pints selling for only $3 during happy hour and $4 the rest of the time.
And there's affordable food like Cuban sandwiches and a daily mac n' cheese.
You need to add The Guild to your list of close-in Eastside bars to visit.
