David came out and worked on our piano that hadn't been tuned in YEARS! It was like magic! My grandmother's piano is playing music again! He was timely, efficient and the customer service was exceptional. Thank you!

We've had Joseph from Artisan Piano Services out to tune our piano twice in the last year. Both times he has been professional and courteous, and he looks very dapper in his vest and black apron. This last time he finished the tuning in less than an hour, and the piano sounded great when he got done! I would definitely recommend Artisan Piano Services to anyone looking for a piano tuning company in the Portland area.

I have a piano that is over 100 years old, and I wasn't sure if it could even be tuned. David from Artisan pianos came to my house and reassured me that my piano could be tuned, and I was very happy to hear that. David was very respectful of my piano, and he did a very thorough job. He was quick and very pleased to be be tuning such an old piano. I would recommend Artisan Piano to others.

Courteous, panctual and knowledgeble are the 3 words to decribe service we get from APS. We got a piano in estate sale and needed tuning, they have done amazing job and i feel i m totally hearing new instrument. Also if you try to understand technicality, they will be happy to take time out and show you while doing the service to the piano...I will stick to them ...two thumbs up

I have met with Artisan two times now and each time they were impeccable with being on time, as well as sending friendly reminders of when my appointment was. The service was quality, quick, and friendly. Both David and Rebekah have kept in contact with me and assured me that if anything happens or if I have any questions or concerns to contact them right away and they will answer my question and or make an appointment 'service call' for free to check out my needs. I would highly recommend this company to trusted family and friends and everyone else. You wont find better quality and service anywhere else.

P.S. Tuning your piano is a great investment for the long run. The piano I received had not been tuned in over 20 years, and David cleaned up right back up making it sounds priceless and pristine. Thanks Artisan for such outstanding service.

We finally decided to have our piano tuned after many, many years of neglect. David from Artisan came out right on schedule and examined the piano. He didn't try to make any unneeded parts replacements which I was glad to see and after some dedicated time had the ivories back in tune. I really enjoyed David's friendly, professional service. In fact, before I knew it, he had all the pictures and knick knacks back on the piano just where they had been before he started. Great service and good people. I highly recommend Artisan.

David Hayes is the best there is! I am a Vancouver area piano teacher and I can trust David to tune and maintain my studio pianos. As well as being an expert in his field, David is prompt, reliable, and courteous. He is the only piano tuner that I recommend to my students and their families.

David Hayes is Awesome!. I have a beautiful piano that is about 160 years old. It has been well taken care of and in my family for more than 60 years. Since it is an heirloom, I looked for the 'best' to tune it back to life. I found that person in David Hayes with Artisan Piano Services. David is not only skilled and knowledgeable at what he does, but enthusiastic and obviously loves his work. He was able to explain the construction and differences of my piano versus a newer one. David has a family history of working and crafting musical instruments and he explained every step to me that we would take to get my piano back to playing condition. He appreciates the instrument for it's craftmanship as well as just tuning it. David and Artisan Piano Services will be my go to for years to come. I highly recommend David!

From his first tuning of my instrument, David has demonstrated a standard of service that far surpasses my expectations, each and every time. Call Artisan Piano Services!. My piano has travelled a long way with me from FL to OR. She's been adjusting for the past year and was ready for some adjustments and tuning.

Thanks to David it now sounds and plays again like it should!
