Uptown Pasta in Uptown Vancouver on Main Street.
I unfortunately decided to try this place out for the first time by taking my brother and his family there for one last dinner before they left town. Big mistake.
You apparently pay a lot for the trendy atmosphere and service accompanied by very little mediocre food. We all agreed that it was very little value for a WHOLE LOT of money. Embarrassed, I made sure that I got the check.
I would not go back there again. If you crave Italian, the Old Spaghetti Factory, Twilight Bistro (Camas), and the Olive Garden all set a much higher standard for treating you really well and feeding you really well.
Twilight Bistro is local and by far the BEST (5 stars). Uptown Pasta is "EH" at best.
HI, THIS IS TONY WITH UPTOWN PASTA, I AM SORRY YOU FELT THE COST OF THE DINNERS DID NOT MEET THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU GOT. I AM NOT SURE WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ORDERED. THE AMOUNTS OF FOOD I GIVE IS NORMALLY BIG ENOUGH FOR 2 TO SPLIT. I MYSELF ENJOY THE OTHER RESTAURANTS YOU LISTED, GOOD PLACES AND AND FUN TIME TO BE HAD. I WILL ASK, IF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO GIVE US A SECOND CHANCE, I WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU BACK, AND ORDER WHAT EVER YOU LIKE ON THE MENU. IF YOUR STILL NOT HAPPY AND FEEL YOU ARE GETTING LESS FOR YOUR MONEY, THE DINNER WILL BE AT NO CHARGE TO YOU. I ONLY ASK YOU BE HONEST ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL. I COOK AS I WOULD AT HOME FOR MY FAMILY. IT IS BASIC, GOOD OLD PASTA AND SAUCE WITH A FEW ADDED SPECIALS.
Quality food and a great atmosphere!.
This a great new Italian restaurant in Vancouver. The pasta is fresh and the inside of the restaurant has a great little Italian vibe. Come for the good food, wine and great service.
