There was no 'ADA/WC/Handicap parking'
! The slot designated for 'ADA/WC/Handicap parking' has the outside BBQ grill/smoker parked in the slot. The gravel parking area is dangerous for those using walkers, canes, wheels chairs, scooters etc...I believe it is a violation to park/use this parking space for the BBQ and will be reported!
Update: The BBQ grill/smoker has been removed. I had no response from the phone call I made. However, the message I left must have been received.

So delicious, so friendly! I had the spare ribs (super tender) with tasty, non-greasy collard greens, a fantastic light-and-salty-with-butter biscuit and rice & beans as my sides. Great addition to the neighborhood and worth a drive as well. Menu updates with seasonally available vegetables and fish. Yummy!

Great BBQ! Not only was the food great but the experience was too! The owner, Seven was so friendly and really made me and my fiance feel like a part of his family. My fiance is pregnant and picky with what she eats these days and even she said the chicken wings she ordered were the best she's had in her whole life! She even wants to have her baby shower there now cause she enjoyed her food so much! Portion size was big and the price very resonable, you won't be disapointed after a meal from there!

As good as the BBQ in Memphis.
I just moved here from Memphis and this is just as good as the BBQ from home. I was pleasantly surprised to find some really decent St. Louis Ribs and a very flavorful "pepper crusted" smoked brisket!
I have visited many times prior to the move and have had a bad experience at EVERY joint i went to up until today.
I don't go out of my way to write bad reviews about places i just don't go back. I'm from the "mecca of BBQ" and when I read the crappy review from jimbagley it screams COMPETITOR!!! Next time be man enough to speak with management about your issues if there in fact was any???
This place didn't exist 3 months ago and they are already showing tremendous promise to be the best. At least in Portland, haha! I'll be back:)

Lackluster service & Dry BBQ. Lackluster service & Dry BBQ about sum this entire place up. I had the BBQ brisket sandwich (to go) and honestly it was difficult to taste the BBQ sauce. I did get the spicy sandwich but it was dominated with pepper which left me wanting my $8 bucks back... All I can say is MisV who wrote the 5 star "Fantastic BBQ Period" review, must own the place. Never again!

FANTASTIC BBQ, PERIOD!!!.
This BBQ is the best that I have ever had. The baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender and the pepper crusted brisket was smoky, tender and peppery (as advertised). The side dishes matched very well with the meats and the spicy bbq sauce is nice, thick and hot as ----! Lovin' it.
I WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN.

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!.
This was some of the worst BBQ I've had. First of all the menu online doesn't list a dinner menu or dinner prices so I had to call for that, I got an order To-Go and they charge extra for the containers (that's tacky) and the worst part was the food itself. (Also, the girl on the phone quoted 1 price for picking up the order but when she rang me up she gave me another price so I questioned her and mentioned that she said something different on the phone and she said "O, the phone must have been muffled.") NICE.
We got the brisket and the pulled pork, both dry w/some thick sauce poured over the top, the beans were boring and bland (I think the only spice they use for EVERYTHING is black pepper, way over used) and they were super watery. Basically theirs looked like pinto beans poured out of a can w/some black pepper and maybe their bbq sauce or something. The greens were boring and it says online all sides are meatless but there was meat in them? (Plus meatless greens just aren't that great anyways!)
So what a letdown, especially w/the 4 reviews listed here, I guess they are the owners or workers putting the reviews online or they are people that haven't had real bbq. Sorry, this was SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT.

Portland Best New BBQ. Seven's BBQ is a Hit! I have been to the best of the best all over the country and I tell you that Seven's BBQ is going to take Portland by storm. This place is only a couple of months new and is already smokin' with the big boys. The pepper crusted brisket is off the chain (great!) and the smoked baby back ribs are as good as it gets. Go try it for yourself and you'll see! AND to the People of Portland- Where I'm from we JUDGE a bbq joint be its BBQ! So take your nose out of the air and put it in your plate cuz that's where its at!

Great N. PORTLAND BBQ. You have got to try this place out!! The ribs and brisket are to die for. What i think makes this place is the bbq sauce. My glasses kept steaming up it was so good. the place is cozy and lounge/ sports bar looked like a place to hang out with games on the table. Looking forword to coming back here and keeping it local in n. portland
