What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
Housed in the formerly pink quarters that launched Saint Cupcake’s rise to cupcake fame, this stylish, friendly little Vietnamese spot is winning NW Portland hearts with a decidedly more savory approach to things. From their stoveside stools, kitchen peeping Tom’s can watch chefs perpae grilled lemongrass pork bahn mi, filet mignon pho, and plum sauce and ginger-stuffed game hens, while conversations fueled by the skillful bartenders’ rummy Green Lemons and Short Rounds fly across the dining room’s long communal table.

This stylish off the beaten NW path
Vietnamese restaurant serves a noteworthy filet mignon and meatball pho (made without MSG). Happy hour is understandably popular—it’s hard to beat $4 lemongrass pork bánh mis and $6 fish sauce wings.
