Portland >Broadway Grill & Brewrey
BEST Spinach Salad in PDX. We go to Broadway at least 1-2 per week. The food is American mainstays, pretty good, and they have the BEST Spinach Salad (add grilled chicken) in town. Careful though, it's a huge portion. Staff is fun and always friendly. Prices are fair, and the Happy Hour is such a deal. Football game days are outrageous. Try it.
Overpriced Food and Slow Service. My wife, son, and I stopped into this brewery/restaurant for dinner on a recent Thursday night. We ordered my son the twirly noodles off of the kids menu and my wife and I had the fish and chips. My son's flavorless noodles came in a teeny tiny bowl and cost nearly $6. The fish and chips, which claimed to be haibut, were horrible. They were little breaded nuggets that had no taste and smelled terribly fishy. And, unbelievably, each order was $15.50! On top of the bad food and outrageous food prices, the waitress couldn't remember to bring us our drinks and the 3 of us had to share one napkin because she never came back to our table. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place. And if you have a hankering for fish and chips try Halibuts on Alberta. The prices aren't cheap but the halibut will melt in your mouth. They make a good drink too.
