Dr Brandi know's best
by JIM RN BSN CCRN at Citysearch
Dr. Brandi has a very special insight when it comes to caring for her patient's. I was blessed to meet Brandi during her residency in Portland. Brandi has the most caring bedside manner of any physician I have ever been around. Brandi not only cares about the job set before her but cares about the whole patient's well being. Working along side of her and seeing the dedication she has to her patient's I had to go and visit her when she was done with her residency.
I am a nurse on my feet 12-14 hrs a day. I had visited several other podiatrist over the years with multiple failed attempts at orthodics I could wear for several hours without having to either remove the orthodic from my shoes, or just not wear them at all. Dr. Brandi challenged me to come and see her, it was the best thing I had done for my feet, back, and body. From the first visit Dr Brandi was extremely polite, caring and understanding. She listen to what I had to say about my feet and about how other orthodics were I had tried. Dr. Brandi made sure the casts of my feet were correct before sending them off to be made. It seemed only a few days went by and the orthodics were back from production. Back in her office it was though the orthodics were gloves molded to my feet. I never got blisters, never had to remove them from my shoes to "take a break" or just remove them all together.
Dr Brandi took the time to listen to me, took the time to mold my cast, and most of all followed up with me in a timely manner making sure my orthodics were working the way they should. I run, hike, work, stand many hours of the day with very, very minimal foot pain these days.
Best of all I can say I know the best Podiatrist and would recommend Sellwood Podiarty and Dr Brandi Myers to anyone who asks. My feet thank you and so do I, for making me be able to stand on my own two feet. (No Pun intended)!!!
She keeps amazing us with personal touch and professionalism

We first met Dr. Myers when my husband was suffering with plantar fasciitis! Due to being a type 2 Diabetic, it was critical that we be well informed and alerted to conditions to watch for. Always presenting us with factual information and not sugar coating time frames or possibilities, we have made tremendous progress in reaching that improved quality of life status. Now that my husband has been able to have a long awaited total knee replacement, we can not stress how much her ongoing support has meant to us.
Having been in Nursing, (a 1000 years ago!), Dr. Myers reminds me of "the old days". Even though she is in the young portion of her career, she brings to her patients that intangible gift of making them feel they are intensely important to her... that they are not just a number on a chart. I would not go elsewhere!
The only podiatrist that I would use

I have taken my son to see Dr. Myers for ingrown toenail problems. She is always caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. She wants to ensure that the problem is taken care of and that return visits aren't necessary. I would recommend Dr. Myers to anyone that needed a podiatrist.
Dr. Brandi - Sellwood Podiatry - New Life Granted

We all know that when our feet hurt, our entire body sympathizes. When I first met Dr Brandi, we discussed options to alleviate pain in my feet caused by arthritis. She fitted me for custom orthotics and made recommendations for shoes. The plan was to provide relief from pain and ward off the need for surgery. YAY! Victory!...well, for awhile anyway. Ultimately, surgery was needed, but I was thankful to have put it off.
When we discussed surgery, she gave me all of the options and when I asked the same questions over and over, she patiently answered them, and was as thorough the first time as the second. We made a decision. It was the first time I ever felt like I had made a joint decision with a medical provider of any kind.
Before, during and after surgery, Dr Brandi was patient, kind, empathetic and best of all, straight forward and accessible. The best part is that the surgery was effective and my foot has been pain free for 2 years now. The surgery literally changed my life.
I now walk 6 miles, several times every week and I have lost significant weight. I have also experienced a dramatic decline in other body pains.
I am so thrilled. I had no idea how my life would be permanently changed all because I went to see an unassuming and quiet doctor in Sellwood because my feet hurt.
Thank you Dr Brandi! Thank you.

Run, Don't Walk, is a good five star description. Dr. Brandi Myers is patient and thorough. She doesn't stop caring about you when you leave the office. She makes sure my feet are in the best shoes so they will take me running or walking without injury or other problems related to improper foot wear.
- Pros: Attentive, caring doctor, and cute too.
