"YES V R OPEN!".
I have lived in the downtown area for over a year now, and right when I moved in, so did Jefferson Pizza.
Hailing from Sri Lanka, the owner "Shawn", is a jolly and helpful proprietor of this eccentric pizza establishment. If you're good to him, he is good to you (you might even get a free topping or soda!). My room-mate and I have gotten to know him well, and now refer to him as "Papa Shawn".
His hours and prices are ever-changing but almost always reasonable, and it seems like he is always open.
The pizza is average-to-good, especially for it's price!
The shop itself is quite an experience because it is so tiny, but accommodates all needs. It also has a vibe that it was built inside based on needs that make sense. In other words, he has clocks that are eye level, because why have it up so high when you can read it right in front of you?
Overall:
Jefferson's Pizza is a strange experience but pretty good and worth it for the price!
